 I’m semi new to this site, only being on here to check posts every now and again, but now I’m an active member and want to get to know everybody and post and share my basketball knowledge, I would love to know everyone’s favorite teams and players as a part of getting to know everybody here.

My favorite teams are the Celtics, (obviously) Kings, (my username states 2 out of my 3 fav teams) and the Thunder.

My favorite players are Kevin Garnett, Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, Demarcus Cousins, Thomas Robinson, Dirk Nowitzki, Tyler Hansborough, and Danny Green.

 Big wolves fan here. If I have to cheer for another team it would be either the Bucks or 76ers.

I’m from Ottawa so I also love the Raps.  I tend to go against the grain with a lot of Raptor fans on this site.  I think Colangelo is a great GM / Love where the team is headed / and I have no problem with international players.  Check out Andrea Bargnani’s game any chance you get.  The guy is a freak.  7 footer who can handle the ball, and is in shooting range anywhere within half court.  The guy is like a fine bottle of vintage wine.  You just have to wait a few years for it to age to maturity.  Then Dam!!

Been a Kings fan since I was in Jr. High. I didn’t start playing basketball until 13 which is why I was so bad at it. (Better at football but loved Basketball so much more). I was heart broken in 2002 when we took the Lakers to game 7 and lost. This is where my hate for Laker nation started, and believe me it didn’t help living 30 minutes from LA. Anyway my favorite player at that time was Chris Webber, loved the guy while everybody was yelling "Kobe" I was yelling "Webber" when I shot a mid range jumper, no lie haha. But now my favorite player would have to be Demarcus Cousins. Not just because he’s obviously our next biggest thing, but because he’s making everyone stupid who said he’d end up like Derrick Coleman or Eddy Curry no love for the game.

I’m not a Heat a fan in fact I hate the idea of super teams but Wade and Lebron are by far my favorite duo. The swag, the arrogance, and the sheer fire power puts them a cut above other Duo’s in the league. Especially defensively, those two defensively cause so many turn overs at times they could make steve nash’s handle look slippery.

Mavs , Cuban is the man and treats his players as well if not better than any owner.  He has even matured and doesn’t get fined all the time anymore and or create distractions for his team.  He did have a tendency to let his passion get the best of him at times.

 imma heat fan cuz i moved to MIA in middle 90s so they were my favourite team to watch since way back…
now i also have few teams i would like to see getting much better and maybe even contenders if everything goes right like Kings,imo they should just teach all these guys they have how to play with eachother… that was their problem last season Cousins isnt leader,Evans wasnt even the same player after he was moved to sf and thorthon really isnt vocal leader hes more of quiet guy and then at last Thomas who is rookie still learning how to play against much bigger and versatile pgs in this leage..if they finally click together they could be even better then last Kings generetion of -’01-04
 and also there is one team im exicited to watch and they are GSW,imo they could be even better than Kings cause they could potentialy have best backcourt in 3-4 years with Curry,Thompson and now Barnes(who is my sleeper pick for ROY),they also have Bogut who could be servicable if healthy,and Lee who maybe is the weakest link but he was also very good player 2-3 years ago and he could be also traded in last year of contract..they also have few good guys of bench

 Was a huge Nash and Shaq fan when I first started watching the NBA. Always been a fan of the Suns and HEAT and with Nash being a Laker I will watch them more. Always been a semi Lakers fan, but its hard to not like watching Nash. Also loved watching the Thunder get put together.

I have been a Bulls fan since before I can even remember, however I can watch any team/game, as I just love Basketball on any level. From NBA-AAU. Duke is my favorite college team, since the days of Hurley & Hill.

Some of my older favorite players are Jordan, John Paxson, Grant Hill, Steve Kerr, and Shaq. (I am a huge fan of fundamentally sound basketball and centers that resemble buildings).

In the NBA now, I would say James Harden (love his old school game), Rose (been watching him play since Mean Streets/Simeon), and Andre Iguodala (while I question his shot selection/ I love his defensive intensity).

 A lot of people on here are like me they started liking a team when they had a great player, I like the twolves since they had kevin garnett and I still have rooted for them through this tough stretch, like someone liking the raptors because of vince carter and then he leaves, but you keep rooting for them which is nice because when our teams find a way to win it will feel even better. 

then there are some of you who like the heat and thunder because they are they best teams in the NBA, which  makes you a bandwagoner and you are the stupid people who tell the people like the twolves and raptors fans that our teams suck. I like the watching the Twolves now because it is fun to watch a team develope and grow into a good team.

I will admit I enjoy watching the heat play because they are great and I appreciate greatness, but I don’t root for them or care if they win.

 i like a decent amount of players, like alan anderson who at 29 made it back to the nba after 5 years being gone and playing all around the world to get there. I liked jeremy lin from the beginning when he played good against john wall in the summer league game, I followed him since and he proved that he is a decent player. I have like jameer nelson since he was at st. josephs in philly. He plays hard, he plays smart and he works hard, all while being 6 feet tall.

I like random guys like kevin murphy and kenneth faried(I had read an article about his rebounding before), that I see in random conference playoffs that play really good and I see that they have nba potential before the mainstream media talks about them or thinks that they have nba potential

Warriors fan because I live in the Bay Area, and for the first time in a long time I can be proud of my team, we’re pounding the Lakers right now, 89-46 in the summer league, Klay and Barnes have outscored the Lakers by themselves and they haven’t played the whole quarter.

Indiana Pacers.

I’ve been a die hard fan since the early 90’s.

However, the first game I ever watched and the first moment I remember was game six of the 1992 NBA Finals. I was really young, but I remember John Paxson hitting the big three to put the Bulls up by one to win the game. Then I just remember them celebrating. So the Chicago Bulls have always been my second favorite team, unless they were playing the Pacers.

 Been a Pacers fan since 2004 pre-brawl, Jazz fan since 2005 when D Will was a rookie, and jumped on the Celtics bandwagon in 2007 when the Big 3 was assembled. My favorite team right now is the Jazz even tho D Will is in Brooklyn. We’re one of the most exciting young teams in the League and while we won’t compete for a championship for awhile, we’ll definitely be a playoff regular again in a couple seasons if everyone keeps developing.

Favorite Active Players: D Will, OKC’s Big 3, Boston’s Big 4 (minus Allen now), Kyrie (I really like how he’s handled himself as the Cavs’ star post-LeBron), Tyler Hansbrough & Roy Hibbert (Pacers), Jordan Crawford (Wizards), Gordon Hayward (Jazz), also some rookies: Harrison Barnes (Warriors), Tyler Zeller (Cavs), Kendall Marshall (Suns), John Henson (Bucks) = huge UNC fan haha.

Favorite Legends/Retired Players: MJ, Kareem, Stockton & Malone, Larry Bird. There’s a sweet all-time starting 5 right there.

 Also Ty Lawson & Jeremy Lin…for some reason I completely bought into Linsanity while I was completely anti-Tebowmania, probly because Lin hasn’t always been in the spotlight and had to work for his PT. He will become a great player learning from J Kidd now, great signing for Lin’s development.
