Evan Turner has a better chance than anybody in the draft to be better than John Wall. Turner has better handels he can play 3 positions he can score in a numerous of ways and he’s got good size to get 6 or 7 rebouds a game

Do you think that’s the reason 90% of mock drafts have Turner at # 2?

Actually talking about “chances” i don’t put him over Cousins and Favors as a contender to beat Wall..he’s #2 because his floor is higer and much more safer than the others two.

Not really, lets just say if everyone from pick 2-60 maxed out their potential and became the best they could be then it won’t be Evan Turner, im going with Demarcus Cousins

Evan Turner will be a star in the NBA, a 6’7″ shooting guard with a great all around game. I can find no reasons this kid will not be a multiple nba all star.

Evan Turner is the safe pick the same way Bosh, Wade & Anthony were to Milicic. Turner is the safe pick while Cousins is the Darko pick. Turner may not be Jordan…. but he definately won’t be Z. Randolph or Eddie Curry.

It’s tough to say where a players ceiling is, that’s why players in the 2nd round have out preformed 1st rounders and even became allstars. The reason Evan Turner is considered a “safer player” is because right out he can contribute at a starter level for any team not named Celtics or Lakers, even then he would be a contributing player off the bench because of his versatility. That being said the thing holding turner back is his length and athleticism which are just average but freak athletes with good skill sets are hard to find.

We always hear the NBA is not a developmental league but so many picks this year are done on how good they can be, not how good they are already. With another year in college I don’t see the players in this years draft going in a different order. So are we talking how good they will be in 5 years or in 3?
