What do you guys think of Evan Fournier? Hes been playing better as of late, averaging around 16ppg, 6 rpg, and 3 apg in his last five games. He is not much of an athlete, but he has good size for a combo guard at around 6’7. He is very crafty with the ball, and has seemed to improve his outside shooting. He is very smooth, a very good ball handler, and good passer, and is still only 21 years old. I really like his potential going forward. I do not think he will be a star but I think he will be a very good player in a couple years. What do yall think?

Here are some highlights from his last game against Sacramento:

I quite like him.  I also liked Jordan Hamilton who Denver drafted the year before…

How often do we see the next Bledsoe, Gortat, Dragic, Tobias Harris, Vucevic etc blossom when given the right minutes….

Not saying Fournier and Hamilton will be this good but they can both be productive if given more minutes.

I live in Denver and have seen him multiple times. Dudes definitely clean. Just an absolute matador on defense, although he has good hands and can get his hands on some balls, but can’t stay in front of anybody. Thats what will hold him back from being a good starter.

He’s very comfortable with the ball and I think he would be a solid bench piece for a good team. Denver works since nobody really plays any defense so its hard to notice just how bad he is.

Still too skinny, he has good skills, but he struggles finishing and creating separation. Liability on defense. When his shot is falling he is ok. If he doesn’t work on his defense or his strength he will be a fringe rotation player unless he somehow becomes a shooting specialist (which is unlikely). But he’s showing improvements so I wouldn’t give up on him.
