IndianaBasketballParticipantRan into him last night and asked him about his injury.
Turns out his injury was more than just a bruise. He was consistently having to get his knee drained of fluid due to swelling and said he’d been dealing with the pain since in LA. That’s why they decided to do arthoscopic knee surgery. Turns out the problem was small debris of loose articular cartilage floating around.
This type of surgery is of the norm. Carmelo Anthony just had it this summer. It’s basically cleaning up wear and tear. Other than that his knee is fine.
He said he should be back towards the end of the month and is definitely trying out for Team USA.

F_DA_POParticipanthaha I feel I’ve seen this guy say he’s casually ran into multiple NBA players. Are you hanging out in the VIP every Friday? wtf

IndianaBasketballParticipantEJ in the VIP? Nah… That ain’t him lol. I ran into him at Wal-Mart. He’s almost a few years younger, but I’ve been knowing him for awhile.
Most of the players I know are from the Indy area. I either hooped, trained, worked out, etc with them. The younger guys like Hayward, Teague, etc I know from St. Vincent Sports Medicine and 100% Hoops training.
