bledsoe has been playing his ass off in the post season. he was a five star coming out of high school, also a one and done kid. ive always felt the point guard and center position are the two hardest positions to come in and play right away when ur drafted on potential. so my question with his recent showings in the play offs, what is his possible potential/

I honestly think he could be a solid starter(16-18 ppg, 5-7 apg, 4rpg,2stls per).

He’s very explosive and strong and just off that he could live at the free throw line,he would have to improve on his FT’s but he could live at the line, he is a PG,he can pass, Bledsoe’s problem is sometimes he is out of control, he happens to drive with no purpose alot, and then hopefully get bailed out with a foul or finding an open person.

Athletically he’s one of the top PG’s in the L,now read what I said, ATHLETICALLY Bledsoe is one of the most athletic PG’s in the L possibly top 5, his speed, quickness, leaping ability, and superb build/strengh makes him an superb athlete mix that in with a 6’8 wingspan it makes him elite, so athletically he has no problem he just has to get the game to slow down in his mind.

I don’t know if he could be an allstar, but I do think he could be close.

Bledsoe is best suited as a 6th man but can be an elite one at that. With his Shaky jump shot and average PG skills and decision making I wouldn’t want him as my starting PG but I sure as hell could use him as my 6th man especially with his ability to play off guard.

He is like a stronger, quicker Jason Terry, obviously not as good a jumpshot yet but if he works on his game he could be a great 6th man behind CP3.

He’s 22 years old and only played one year of college and has only started to scratch the surface.  He has one of the best point guards of all time mentoring him.  He has a firey competetive drive that makes me beleive the sky is the limit for this kid.  I think he can be a solid starting point guard in this league on both ends of the floor.

it will be interesting to see if the Clippers go with mo williams, billups and bledsoe again next year. That’s too much talent, not enough playing time. Hopefully Billups comes back to LA. They should trade randy foye and caron butler for a good SF.

He can be good.  He reminds me a lot of Avery Bradley in that despite being a 1 in size, he really seems to work better off the ball.

Spark plug type of role off the bench would be perfect for him if he continues to develop his skill as a scorer.  Could see him mold into a more athletic Bobby Jackson over time , hope he puts in the work because he has the natural ability.

Bledsoe can start for a team next year, dude has the it factor. They need to trade him for a good SG or SF.. Hs stock is up right now. How about Bledsoe to Knicks for Landry Fields. woks for both teams

A lot of people underrated him.

During his rookie season, I noticed he had something you can’t teach. Poise and maturity at a young age. He plays with no fear… A lot of guys get passive after they make mistakes… He doesn’t. And athletically, he’s a freak. He knows how to use his athleticisim at both ends too.

I see his ceiling (if given minutes and opportunity) as that of Jeff Teague.

I don’t see him as a starter, but he for Fields really does work for both teams.  He’d be a very good backup to Lin and a 3-guard rotation with Shumpert could be really effective, particularly on D.

He can be a starte, he’s top 5 most athletic PG’s in the league, he already has 60% of the battle won, now he just needs to slow down the game in his mind and he’d be a complete beast, because he gets after it on both ends(offense and defense).

I think he can be a special defender with his tools. I don’t think he will be great at running a team offensively though. I’d keep Bledsoe around. He is competing with CP3 in practice and that won’t hurt him. He got some schooling from Chauncey as well I’m sure. I really like the more athletic bobby Jackson comparison though I don’t know if he scores as much as bobby did. He is going to be an important piece for whatever team he is on though.

Nope, I think that’s a fair assumption. While Wall has regress from his rookie yr Bledsoe has steadily improved. The playoffs where just a glimpse of things to come for him. Don’t forget he’s learning from the best PG in the game that priceless.

I like Bledsoe just as much as you but c’mon I can’t say he’s better than Wall yet.

His averages for his career are:

    5.6 PPG, 2.9 APG, 2.4 RPG

    Compared to Wall’s

    16.3 PPG, 8.2 APG, 4.6 RPG

    Not better than Wall yet.

Those averages don’t mean a damn thing. John Wall has the keys to his franchise. Bledsoe has 2 perennial all stars and has had 3 former all stars in his position.

To me his ceiling looks much higher than Landry Fields ceiling.

I couldn’t agree more. The funny thing about all this is that Sam Cassell took Wall to game 3 of the the Clips vs Grizzlies series in L.A. To watch how Paul runs a game. Shit, Bledsoe gets to match up against CP3 everyday in practice, while picking Billups brain. Like he showed in the playoffs the kid is learning quickly. You could actually make an argument that Bledsoe outplayed his mentor Paul in the Spurs series.

Ok, that’s fine you guys are entitled to your opinion, but Wall has Bledsoe beat, sorry just the way it is right now, could Bledsoe surpass Wall one day? Possibly, but there’s a reason why Wall was selected #1 and handed the keys to a franchise and Bledsoe wasn’t, there’s a reason why John started the Point at Kentucky even tho he was 6’4 and Bledsoe was moved to the 2 at 6’0.

Eric Bledsoe isnt better than John Wall, you gotta listen to yourselves man.  Wall has alot to learn, but even off raw talent, which is what he essentially is right now, he’s a good bit better than Bledsoe. Bledsoe hasnt even really proven he’s a PG at all yet.

Exactly, Bledsoe has alot of raw untapped talent true, but he isn’t better than Wall no way shape or form.

Look, I like Bledsoe, but I don’t know how anyone with common sense can argue him being better than John Wall. Wall is a better passer and a more skilled offensive player right now. Blesoe is a great athlete that plays good defense, but his offensive skill set is still lagging behind a little.

He was showing in the playoffs why I wanted the Wizards to trade for him during the season when his value was low, but he kind of had a mini blow-up in the playoffs.

The first overall pick in 2010, Wall has regressed since his rookie season, dropping in nearly every statistical category.

Sure, he hasn’t (wink, wink).People are just making articles up, lol. Whatever floats your guys boat I guess everyone is entitle to their opinion.
