NiceWithTheRockParticipantEric Bledsoe will probably be the odd man out in the Clippers rotation with 4 proven veterans in front of him. When he returns from injury, do you think the Clippers entertain trades for him? And where would he fit?

TyroberParticipantI think Mo Williams will definitely be moved instead of Bledsoe. Bledsoe will be very good backing up Paul and can play the 2 as well.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantMemphis should try to get him..They can use his shooting…..Memphis can offer the Clippers 1 of their many wing players and Xavier Henry will be returning soon..Sam Young who started some games in the playoffs isnt in the rotation right now….

JoeWolf1^RUDEBOY, I know you have Memphis season tickets. Jeremy Pargo has been coming up big in the box scores, but I haven’t gotten a chance to watch the Grizz this season. How is he looking?

Game760ParticipantAlso agree that’s Mo is the odd man out.Bledsoe is 6’1 with a 6’7″ wingspan,he has range and his only downfall is his handling of a team as a PG.But on this team he can just take in Paul and Billups knowledge and could possibly become something special,he’s perfect for back up PG and SG role

joecheck88ParticipantI think Mo williams is the odd man out. I think a few teams will look to get a Mo williams. maybe like Boston, LA Lakers, maybe even Orlando if they try and make a playoff run. Im not sure what his value will be but yo should be able to get a solid piece for him.

I 2nd this, but if I were the Clips I would demand Henry in return. The Clips desperately needs a SG/SF

FastAndFuriousParticipantYea, I agree I think Williams is out as well, Bledsoe has a chance to become a solid PG in the league with his athletic ability, and he can learn from Paul, Bledsoe is only 22 as well, no need to move him.

Chilbert arenasParticipantWhat value can they get for Williams in that case? What team wants him and his contract? I agree they should hold on to Bledsoe but do they get rid of Mo for cap releif if nothing else?

Game760ParticipantPretty sure he’s expiring and if not it’s a 2 year..He’s only making 8.5 mill it’s not a bad deal and if he’d get starting minutes he’d be slot better than half of PGs out there
Mo for Henry Would be an incredible deal for both..Grizz for the present and for Clipps a starting SG for the futureGrizz have so many young wings they can afford it …
He’ll give the Clipps Mayo Paul/Billups would help him fulfill his potential
Since they’ve pretty much traded Mayo twice …well take him0 - Posted on: Tue, 01/03/2012 - 7:25am #620974
JoeWolf1I’m not that big on Henry, we’ll see how he plays coming back from his injury. He very well could have worked out some kinks in his game, but in the past he’s been a waste of his massive size. He’s 6’61/2” and around 235lbs but has never shown any sort of post game and he really lacks a mid-range game too.
He’s a decent screen shooter, but he has difficulty creating his own shots. Guys do improve and he is a good charachter guy, but he’s kind of a hulking 3 point shooter (and a very streaky on at that) the last time he was on the court in an NBA game. He is pretty good in transition, but I never felt he’s taken advantage of his physique, hopefully he’s improved on that in the off season.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantHey Joe Wolf,I like what i’ve seen so far in Pargo..
More importantly Coach Hollins loves the way Pargo has performed this year..Word is that Memphis feels that he can be a Kyle Lowry type for them…A tough, hard-nosed guard that gives 100% ,but like Lowry he still struggles with his outside shot….
Selby also shows promise, but right now i feel some time in the D-League will help him learn more about the nba game..In the games i seen him play..There were times when he seemed overmatched ..But a few games in the D-League will help him alot..Becuz i see alot of Monta Ellis in his game….
Both guys look like they’ll be in the nba for a long time…

RUDEBOY_ParticipantHenry played good defense before he got hurt..There were opposing coaches that were raving about Henry’s poise on the defensive end for a young player…He’s 1 of those players that will keep getting better…

JoeWolf1Thanks, RUDEBOY
The thing I remember most about him in college was his athleticism. I knew he had to improve some of his point guard attriubutes to make it in the NBA though, I’m glad he did.
It’s good to see him back in the NBA, though, I feel a lot of players go to Europe and just stay there even though they have improved enough to make a roster in the NBA.
And yeah, Henry is a good defender, he even was as a freshman in college, which isn’t usually the case for guards. I just feel he needs to learn to use his size to his advantage more on offense. He’s huge, I met him once and he looked every bit of 6’6” that is not a fake height and he’s built too. I feel he just has some major holes on offense that need to be addressed going forward.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantHenry is still young and still learning how to really play the game…But i like his upside,i think Memphis is only holding on to OJ Mayo until Henry is competely healed..

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI’m in Memphis now to see them play the Kings tonight ..It’s going to be interesting to see who plays, becuz Cousins was sent home, Randolph got hurt the other night, they really dont expect to play him 2nite and Conley is still listed as day to day….

rileymcshea3ParticipantI think Mo Williams could be a perfect fit for the Lakers and is basically a upgraded version of a old Derek Fisher and Steve Blake

Lotto StudParticipantThe part about Bledsoe to Memphis is that there are more negatives than positives for the outcome of the deal.
Conley Pargo Bledsoe Selby 4 PGs all under 6’3". Bledsoe has the shooting ability to play the 2 as Selby has the added athleticism, but both would be liabilities on the defensive end to much bigger physical SGs such as Kobe DWade etc.
Bledsoe would not be a drop off at all, but Memphis has nothing to gain by adding perimeter players, they need bodies down low something BAD! You can never go wrong beefing up your block to keep your guys fresh all season long. You go as far as Z-Bo & Gasol take you. PROVEN fact!
