For_Never_EverParticipantElfrid Payton in my opinion is the best next level NBA pure caliber PG. He has the phyical gifts and tools for the position at 6’3ht with long arms. Very good athlete with great foot speed. Skills has improved each year, needs to improve handles, court vision not elite, but good. Very good defender because of length and athleticism can defend for stretches the SG spot. Has the potential to be special player and be the steal of the draft.

juves4783Participanthaven’t seen this guy much but i would say this draft is full of tall, long point guards. in a normal draft, that may help set him apart but look at the list of guys this year.
- smart – 6-4
- exum – 6-6
- lavine (combo) – 6-5
- ennis – 6-2
- anderson (who some sites list as a pg) – 6-9
- clarkson – 6-5
- christon – 6-3
- micic – 6-5
i probably would never agree that he’s the BEST because he doesn’t play in a big time conference and there are a lot of unknowns about him.

IhateusernamesParticipantWe’ll see the truth when he gets to the combine and goes against the best. I love his name though.
There’s always a Paul George, Damian Lillard type that slips through the AAU cracks and turns out to be a stud.

BGfor3ParticipantI like him as a defensive specialist and a player who could thrive in transition, but i don’t see Elfrid as a potential lottery talent. He’s like a taller Patrick Beverley.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSometimes you worry about prospects from small schools becuz of the level of competition..But he had a double-double against Louisville 1 of the nation’s top defensive teams..27 points against Arkansas and went for 20pts/9rbs/6assts against Baylor…
Smart kid does a great job of managing the team, takes good shots 51% fg on the season..But needs work on his shooting….Right now he’s in the middle of the pack as far as point guards,at the combine he’s going to have open some eyes to move above the 25 to 35 range, i think he’ll go in….

Prime TimeParticipantThere are going to be a lot of PG’s that get drafted in the second round that could potentially be better than the ones selected in the first round.
There’s also a lot of Seniors who look to atleast be solid back-ups like Burton, Appling, Williams, etc.
This is a fun draft, and it’s going to be interesting seeing how it plays out.

XYRYXParticipantI have to admit, that haven’t seen much of him but he is tall and strong build which is always a plus to me coming into the league no matter if you’re 4 year player, come from a small college or entering as a project freshman player who isn’t ready yet.

MalcolmxParticipantAlso he is a full year young for his class. He skipped a grade in elementary school. He is actually supposed to be a sophomore in college.
