balltilifall5ParticipantAs far as Ed Davis goes, i’m not a huge fan of all the marvin williams comparison. In my mind pretty much all they have in common is the fact that they were 6th men at UNC freshman year and put up very solid numbers. Williams is a lot more perimiter oriented than i see davis ever growing to be. A comparison that i really like for davis is David West. Height is similar and although west has a marked strength edge over Davis, Davis has a frame that looks like he could easily add a solid 15-20 lbs of muscle. I really like his stroke too, i see him being a good back-to-the-basket PF that can take it out to 15-17 ft and knock down a jumper, with limited ball handling skills while still having the ability to put the ball on the deck from about 12 and in, whta do you think?

I think he will be a very good All-Acc type of performer, but i see him as a poor-man’s versison of brandon wright as of right now, not marvin williams
