Was watching it live, they

Was watching it live, they showed him punching a chair before the break, and after the comercial break they told us that Mike Brown told Ron to go in for Kobe, and Ron looked shell shocked, and Mike Brown pulled Kobe off the floor. Not sure what Brown was doing there. This is another reason why Phil jackson was hailed to be as great as he was. Kobe might be a lot more mature now, but when he was a young 18 or 19 year old he was pretty tough to handle.

I was talking

to a friend the other day and we thought about an earth-shattering trade. Kobe for Joe Johnson straight up. Yeah Yeah Yeah, He's won 5 rings, Joe fades in and out of games. I'm not saying JJ is the player KB24 was, but going forward JJ is and will be better than an arrogant, stat seeking egotistical aging KB.

I am a big kb24 fan I know which is why I am overly critical. JJ is more passive by nature which would only make the Lakers better as a team. We'd be able to utilize our biggest strength (bigs) and everyone would be happy and confident.

Yeah but Kobe is untradable, F that. Loyalty has it's place in sports once a player retires. I'd be happy to put #8 and #24 in the rafters, but beyond the jerseys i'd rather see more championship banners. They both are overpaid stars, ATL's economics would benefit, and LA would get a tad bit younnger and a lot more ball movement.

The possibility of this is slim to none but fort the sake of convo what do you think?

@db24, Kobe is literally

@db24, Kobe is literally untradable though, he has a no-trade clause in his contract which gives him the power to veto trades. He isn't going to accept a trade to ATL.

lol, oh

w/ that said I guess he is litterally untradable. 4got about that one.

I guess an amnesty is the only way out then? whoever is in the FO would face too much criticism and forced out of a job so that wouldn't fly either.

You make it sound like Kobe

You make it sound like Kobe is averaging 4ppg or something, instead of leading the league in scoring. Why would they even consider amnestying him? If someone in the FO amnestied Kobe they wouldn't be unjustly forced out of a job, they would be fired for sheer lunacy and never work in basketball again.

“I am happy that my identity

“I am happy that my identity is not tied up in being an NBA player,” Evans said. “If I were to retire today, I would have no regrets and would be extremely thankful God allowed me to play eleven years professionally after not being drafted.”54354
