ucla has the #2 recruting class in america and 2 of their top 6 players in aaron holiday and thomas welsh should return. I think they wil be solid favorites to win the pac 12.

edit: just to expand on my bruins love

Holiday and welsh should both return. They also have gorgiu goloman returning who was their 8th man and played in every game last year. Then they bring the #2 ranked recruting class led by 2 mcdonalds all americans in pg jaylen hands and combo forward kris wilkes. They have 2 additional top 50 players in big men jalen hill and cody riley. They also return redshirt wing prince ali who was a key player 2 seasons ago as a freshman and a top 50 recruit but had to sit out this past season due to an injury. Throw in little brother LiAngelo Ball for depth and 4 star top 150 recruit Chris smith who can play multiple positions and you have arguably the best freshman class in the nation with a bunch of returning veterans.

I think you have Zona rated too high. If Kevin Knox goes to UNC I would move them up a notch.

Miami will win the ACC….mark it down. Lonnie Walker #8 in the 2018 draft class is one of the two best guards in the country and the best recruit the Canes have ever had. Adding him to a backcourt of Bruce Brown and Newton gives them one of the top perimeter trios in the country. I would put them up against Jackson, Allen and Trent Jr anyday.

They have questions inside but if Huell develops like he is capable of he could be a double double machine at 6-11. They are also in the mix for some impact Grad transfers as well. I think this could be the best team in the history of Miami Hurricane basketball.

Substitute Frank Jackson with Trevon Duval for Duke. From what I’ve heard Frank is staying in the draft and Trevon will come in and start.

I definitely agree that Miami is flying under the radar here. Top 3 team in the ACC for sure.

This might just be because of how they played us in the tournament, but Wichita State’s gonna be tough next year. Shaq Morris leaving will hurt but Landry Shamet is a baller

Shaq Morris was a red shirt junior, so he’s coming back next season. But they’re going to be very, very good. I have them as a top five team next season.

I won’t nitpick how you you ranked the top seven teams because I think all seven should be ranked highly. Though I don’t think I’d have Texas A&M or St. Mary’s in the top 10.

A lot depends of course on decisions still but Louisville, Miami, Villanova, Purdue and Wichita State stand out in my mind as teams that could very well make cases to be better than both of those teams next season. I think Florida would be up there as well given their returnees plus recruits.

On the surface, it doesnt appear that there is that one elite team again next year. Really good teams like Zona, Michigan State, Kansas and so on but I don’t see a runaway favorite.

No reason to leave Gonzaga out of the top 10 in my opinion. Killian Tilley is gonna have a breakout year along with Rui Hachimora. If NWG leaves thier next gaurd up is Zach Norvell. Also watch out for Jacob Larsen. He injured his knee as a freshman last year and sat out the season but he was supposed to be fighting for minutes with Zach Collins before the injury. If he comes back in good condition Tilley and Larsen will create a dynamic frontcourt threat for the Zags.

Williams-Goss declared and signed an agent, so that’s the killer. Hard to replace a consensus All-American.

Louisville and Wichita St should be on this list..

St.Marys will be tough and I see them starting out in the top 20, potentially climbing up depending on how Jock Landale performs. Great List, I know an unhealthy amount about college basketball and I really cant complain about this list.

*Devonte Graham for KU, Treveon was at VCU I believe

Also think Malik Newman may be the starting off guard as a big time recruit transfer from Miss St

    Just a couple of things:

No way Duke starts Carter and Bolden. Duke likes spacing and with both bigs out there, it will clog the paint. I’m not saying they won’t play together but starting them both doesn’t seem like a good idea. Bolden needs to go back home and go to TCU.

Texas A&M won’t start Gilder again at the point, that was a disaster a year ago and they shouldn’t make the same mistake twice. The Aggies have three point guards coming in, JJ Caldwell (redshirt/eligible), TJ Starks, and Jay Jay Chandler. Caldwell should start at the 1, pure, pass first point guard.

Side note: Diallo better come back to UK. I also have a feeling Bamba will pick UK over Texas and Duke. Also, Cameron Johnson is a must get for UK, even more so if they lose Diallo and miss out on Knox. If all three possibilites happen UK’s starting lineup should be:

    Green

    Diallo

    Johnson

    Vanderbilt

    Bamba

Very versatile team with the knock down, experience player in that lineup with the addition to Johnson.
