Killer_kat12345ParticipantGreat potential
Similar to Granger with height for a 3
Slashing drive to the basket
Can shoot the ball
ReboundingWhat sets him apart : GREAT PASSER and can create shots for himself and teammates
I see him fitting best in a team with a fast pace offense and defensive minded coach…
Therefore Toronto would be the best option for him… and also the future of the teamthoughts?

Jordan.TParticipantya i agree i dont think toronto have a good sf, i hope they can get him i think it will be really good for the team.

eprizzle14ParticipantYeaa but if the Raps to get Clark they still would have a hole at C and Bosh is still going to be gone in 2010. They might be alright this next year if Bosh stays but I dont see a great foundation there right now.

kamikazeParticipantyea Clark would be a good fit for the Raps in the SF position…..depends though…..im not sure where in 5-10 lottery pick will Derozen get drafted…..i think Brandon Jennings is set to be a GS and Curry to be a knick….matches their team needs and theme….there is a good chance Clark might go earlier than Derozen…..word has it that even Tyrese Evans might get drafted as a early as 6…..its hard to say…he had a good run in the end….
if Derozen and Clark are both still there IF Raps pick 9th, then i would go with Derozen…if he aint there, then its Clark……both are good to play the SF position with the Raps….if both are gone, and Tyrese Evans is still there, then its him….here is the order for the raps to go with….. Derozen > Clark > Evans ….bottom line, raps are gettin a good player either way…..
and yo, THERE IS NO WAY HENDERSON IS GETTING DRAFTED AT 10…..and Ellington at 11? r u kiddin me…….Lawson will go before Ellington…..i see Henderson in a 15-20 pick area…..and i can see Raps working out a deal with Chicago, to get their early 1st round pick to get Henderson as well….

charlesdelia3ParticipantYou have not watched much of Hederson have you the kid can jump out the box top ten no but the nets woul d be dum to pass on him when the need a replacement for Vince and Lawson is just to small . at 6’5 with a sweet offensive game Wayne will go before Ty. And Evans still can;t shoot the ball. if he goes lottery its to high of a pick to take him

HaleParticipantLeBron 2.0??? I hope you mean like LeBron 0.25.

billykParticipantLebron -2.0
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/15/2009 - 9:30am #150375
charlesdelia3ParticipantUm yeah no thei should be know way Clark falls past the Mem. Grizz. They need a 4 and at 6’10 230 their is no reason why he can’t play the 4. If Tyrus Thomas can play the 4 at 6’9 215 Clark can play the 4 to. Clark is a Borris Diaw type and we know Diaw can play 3-5. A Font court of Gay Clark and Gasol would be sick.

JPParticipantD’Antoni had such a man crush on Diaw… Clarke is of the same mold. He would be a great compliment to Gallinari.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantRaptors Should Draft Derozan If Not Taken earlier

Dgtool2ParticipantClark is extremely versatile for his size. Must work on his perimeter game. Loved watching him progress in Louisville. Toronto seems like a good fit.

WritingNBA.blogspot.comParticipantI hate when people try to bash you because you compare Clark and Brons game. We all know that Bron is on a different level far as everything. That still doesn’t take away the fact Clark game does emulates Bron game. Both are apart of a class that are rare for SF’s. Both are big and can operate on the perimeter. Whether it be getting other people shots on playing point forward. I think he fits with the Bulls too. I just don’t think Raptors have the players that want it! They don’t have the guy on the team like Moses Malone or Jordan. Bosh won’t hit Adrea in the mouth like Jordan Kerr. Who’s the leader of the Raps. You can add all the talent you want but if that hunger isn’t there, you’re basically just playing. I’m not sure if you want to add Clark to that mix of players. He’ll be idle and ineffective. He needs someone to defer to. The guy has some maturity to do.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think sometimes people take comparison as to say that this person is exactly like this other person. There is more than basketball skill that makes a player great. Odom skills and size would put him better than Kobe and on Bron level but he does not have the mind set to do so. There are a lot of players in NBA with a great players skill set but are no where near that player. There are so much factors that determine that it is crazy. Also Clark’s body is nowhere near Lebrons which is a definite factor in what Lebron can do and also you have to look at a person basketball IQ as well.

thatdude44Participantclark has proven he can play the 3 spot…but listed at 6’9 or 6’10 with the things he can do shows he can bring more to a team so i see him going highly but if the raps get him it’ll be a good draft
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/15/2009 - 3:59pm #150444
QHaynes123I think the best spot for him is Minnesota. He wont go there but with Clark, Love and Jefferson : any PG would be happy
for the record…i saw him play live and he really cant shoot
also, Many l’ville inside guys say he is not ready

mbunner23ParticipantI would like to see him play for Memphis. With Conley,Mayo,Gay,and Gasol.

sheltwon3ParticipantI would love to see him in Memphis too because I believe he or Hill would be a good fit and I like Clark more because of his versatility. Hill looks too raw to me.

ucantcheckmejdj3Participanthe would be a great fit in New Jersey if he falls to #11
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/15/2009 - 11:09pm #150520
Meditated StatesParticipantI don’t know if he can shoot like Granger, but he can work on it. He has a lot of tools, though I would still be scared to take him too early. He always left me with more to be desired when I watched him play. He will be a solid pro with superstar potential if he works on his shot, and plays more aggressive on the offensive end.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 05/16/2009 - 5:25am #150559
JNixonParticipantThe Knicks would be a good fit…he isnt a 4 like some of you are saying because he doesnt have a good post game, but he would be a good looking 3 in a fast paced offense like the Warriors,Knicks, Suns, 76ers etc.

ch15r36isParticipantI watched Louisville all year, and I can’t help but think he is similar to Marvin Williams…or maybe he just looks a lot like him.
He has all the tools, but he seems very mechanical a lot of times, and needs to improve his decision-making. I hope Earl does well, but he’s certainly nowhere near a lock, and I think his high-end potential is as the 2nd or 3rd best player on a team.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/21/2009 - 10:49am #169767
ctw724ParticipantHe BLEW OFF his workout with them this weekend.
That’s fine. They don’t need a no heart, weak work-ethic, over-hyped player anyway. We’ll take DEJUAN BLAIR…thank you!!!

maravich44ParticipantWhere have I heard this before?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/21/2009 - 11:40am #169795
ctw724ParticipantI saw a few mocks having him go to the Bulls. Could he have a PROMISE, just like B.J.? By the way, ESPN supposedly reported today that the Bulls are looking at DeJuan Blair now in a trade-up up scenario.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/21/2009 - 3:22pm #169952
ctw724ParticipantA few media outlets are starting to report that he has received a draft promise by the Suns at #14. Maybe that’s the real reason he pulled his POOR WORK ETHIC and OVER-HYPED ability out of the Bulls workout this weekend.
