Vivid5292ParticipantI know that the season isn’t even over yet and the playoffs haven’t started as well. But, looking at this Miami Heat team, I can’t see them winning a championship this year & for a couple more years to come unless their core players change their style of play or unless Pat Riley steps in & gets them coordinated. Also, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James DON’T compliment each other. With two stars of that caliber not meshing from a skillset standpoint, you’re gonna have problems and we’re seeing this problem now through their recent play. Besides their fastbreak play and defense, I hate seeing this team play. They are not a TEAM. They play terrible basketball together. I hate watching one on one basketball for almost every possession of the game. It’s sad.
With that being said, I want to bring up a point of fantasy(what if). I’m a fan of basketball and so are many of you. I can’t help but wonder what would’ve happened if this super team didn’t form & Dwyane Wade actually went to Chicago. With how Derrick Rose is playing this year, having Dwyane Wade as their 2-guard would, in my opinion, easily make the Bulls the championship favorites next to the Lakers of course. The Bulls’ 2-guard problem would be solved and Dwyane Wade would get to see his kids more lol. Everybody wins in that situation. A starting 5 of Rose, Wade, Deng, Boozer, & Noah would be hard to argue against as the best starting 5 in the league next to the Celtics. A dream come true for Bulls basketball fans and other fans. Good offense and great defense. An overall exciting team especially with Rose and Wade pairing up. What else do you want? I could see how some might disagree, so if you do, please lemme know why.

WizardofOzParticipantI think if Wade went to Chicago, they would be having much better sucess than the Heat are having. And Bosh probably probably would’ve followed Wade, and Bosh would’ve been a big upgrade over Boozer because Boozer can’t guard ANYBODY.

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantits really Chris Bosh’s fault, he is a bad rebounder/bad defender/jump shooting big man that is like Udonis Haslem 2.0 or Carl Landry. Wade and Lebron could easily work if they just had bigs that actually play defense and rebound like Okafor and Dalembert

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI don’t understand how you say that Wade and LeBron don’t compliment eachother and then go ahead and say Rose and Wade would. They all have similar styles and don’t mesh together at all. The only way they would is if they both magically got a good spot up 3.. which they don’t have. They are both drivers that need the ball in their hands that aren’t particularly good spot up shooters, thus causing the LeBron and Wade effect all over again.

Vivid5292ParticipantWe all know that Wade doesn’t need to have the ball in his hand for 20 secs of the shot clock. Wade had proven that he can play off ball & really doesn’t need to dominate the ball as much as Lebron does to score. Rose is a point guard who scores because his teammates aren’t that capable of scoring too often. Wade is a scoring 2 who thrives off of people getting open looks for him. Fortunately, he can get open looks for himself as well and also for others. This is why he played so well for the Redeem Team coming off the bench. He was playing off ball and finding open spots on the court to score while his teammates just put it in his hands. Rose is capable off feeding him the ball. The only reason Rose dominates the ball so much is because nobody else on that team can handle the ball as well or necessarily create for themselves.

Haslem 2.0? Really? Chris Bosh is Haslem 2.0? I’m not even going to bother lighting up your nonsense reply.

immaletufinishbutParticipantThe positive is that everyone talks about how bad they are but meanwhile they are 1 game away from having the 2nd best record in the NBA, I think that shows how great this team is.

OhCanada-ParticipantI agree with Tongueout I dont think Wade and Rose would compliment eachother well. Either that or Rose’s numbers would plumbet…

Bosh is a big sissy, and hes a punk and all but come on. This guy is slowly becoming the most underrated player in the league.Last year he was undoubtedly the best PF, now he is Haslem 2.0? 4 inchs taller, not as gritty, much more skilled, much longer, the list goes on. Spoelstra is taking the wrong approach with Bosh, he is not incorporating him into the offense right. James and Wade dont have that problem because they can just get ball dominant and take turns at that, then produce their stats. They dont need a set offense as much as Bosh does. Bosh is alot better with a set, fundimental system that benefits him. Miami needs to create one.

ilike.panochasParticipantI think Wade and Lebron do complement their game. The problem is their playing too slow right now, they should be playing an uptempo offense, but they don’t have a PG to do it. As athletic as both of those two are, they should be making highlights after highlights and scoring atleast 100 agame as a team.
Another problem I see with this team is the lack of team defense. They have good individual defenders (lebron and wade) but they don’t play good team defense, specially down the stretch which is the reason they have been problem closing games.

SteroidParticipantSometimes I forget that Bosh is on the floor sometimes when he plays for the Heat. But OhCanada, you said Bosh was, undoubtedly, the best PF last year? Undoubtedly is exaggerating man… Arguably would be the more appropriate word.
Yeah, I don’t think either three of these players (Wade, Wade, and LeBron) would mesh well together no matter which one is playing with which. I think Carmelo is the only great wing player that would fit well with a ball dominant player. With that being said, I think Wade and Rose would make a better duo than LeBron and Wade even though neither of the duos match up playstyle wise.

andxxxParticipantThe problem with the Heat is they don’t execute down the stretch if u watched the first half they were running their offense and let Lebron and Wade work more off the ball. In the second half Lebron started dominating the ball and for good defenses that makes him easier to cover they went away from what got them the lead in the first place
