dolla130ParticipantI was sitting around thinking about how they talk about kobe and lebron being the 2 best players on the planet and how they are the closest thing to MJ and never give D.Wade no type of love IMO D.wade is closer to MJ then both of those players, people might say kobe but i think kobe is a great player but more of a combo of a lot of great players and lebron is a Magic/wilkins combo to me, D.wade on the other hand has that clutch gene that mike had and kobe has, he has that killer mentality and he also attacks the basket like mike neither were or are excellent shooters but they are pretty good, and for all we know D.wade could be the best player in the league but is overshadowed by lebron and kobe and on a better team or with better teammates D.wade could easily get his team to the finals almost every year and win because he is that good unlike Lebron, and people tend to underrate him because of lebron and kobe, and IMO id rather have hime over lebron because he is a closer in every sense of the word and wont settle for a bunch of 3s or trying to take pressure off of himself by passing it to lesser talented players he would and shines at the end of games

td8118ParticipantWatch Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade play….hopefully you have watched Michael Jordan play at one point in your life….and then tell me with a straight face that Dwayne Wade is more similar to MJ than Kobe

HaleParticipantReally you would rather have Wade then LeBron?

dolla130Participantyeah i just dont think lebron has what it takes to take over in a crucial moments of games and is 2 passive at times when the pressure is on

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI felt like D-Wade was a better player but it has to be LBJ all the way.
I think Wade is the player who will benefit the most from the summit/ meetings the big FA’s are having. He will convince someone to play with him.

the I in winParticipantHis play style is similar to Jordan and he gets a lot of blocks for a shooting guard like MJ did but Kobe is more like MJ. Where MJ was better at making insane lay ups, Kobe makes insane jump shots.
Lebron is nothing like MJ.

DanEboyParticipantthe I in win…..MJ was known for making some pretty insane jumpshots himself.

dolla130Participantd.wade makes insane layups also and i understand why people say lebron is a better player but i would rather d.wade he is a winner and has a winners instinct and mentality something lebron lacks what dwade did in the finals lebron will never do and if he does not go to a good team this off season he wont get back to finals for a while D.wade on the other hand can have players come to him and they will become automatic contenders in the east and last season that heat team is horrible besides wade and they won like 47 games so imagine once they add another player

PlatypusParticipantLebron is Magic Johnson

NYK2010ParticipantSo Wade a winner becaz he beat the Mavs and Lebron is a loser becaz he never won a title?
Once again how many top active players actually have rings.
Lebron isn’t a closer so all those series that he won or got his team close to where do they rank.
Wade put on a great performance in the 2006 Finals but he’s not better than Lebron rite now.Outside of the series against the Celtics and the Spurs series in 2007 when has Lebron failed in a playoff series.
He almost beat the Celtics in 2008, played at an all-time great level last year against Orlando including being the only reason they were competitive in that series. I don’t think Wade has ever had a game like Lebron had against the Piston in 07.For all Wade’s great play he hasn’t gotten out of the 1st round sine winning the title in 06.
He still had Shaq, Haslem, Mourning, Payton, JWill, Kapono, Posey and Walker in 2007 basically the same team and failed to get out of the 1st round & lost the last 2 yrs in the 1st round as well.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/06/2010 - 8:24am #327884
Michael.S.ParticipantDwyane Wade is not better than Kobe or Lebron at all. And for all the people saying Wade is a winner while LeBron is not, I think that is Laughable. Wade won one title and has been on mediocre EVERY other year. LeBron has been on a 60 win reqular season team and ECF’s consistently. Besides his rookie year his Cavs teams were all better than Wades minus the one year he won with 3 other HOF’s. BTW, all this talk about LeBrons post game, or lack there of, where is Wades? Yeah, he don’t have one, but he doesn’t get criticized because he isn’t Lebron. Do you guys forget how good jordans post game was?

IndianaBasketballParticipantIs it too hard to say that both Kobe AND Wade have similarities to Jordan? Wade grew up in Chicago, so OF COURSE he has a some of Jordan’s game in his basketball DNA. And we all know Jordan was Kobe’s favorite player and he tried to model his game after him.
@mikenike
You’re right. Wade doesn’t have a post game either, BUT… He has one hell of a mid-range and in between game. I think LeBron is criticized more for not having a post game because he’s 6′ 8″ 250 lbs… Wade is 6′ 4″ 212 lbs. LeBron’s footwork isn’t as good as Wade’s either.

WrecklessParticipantLebron isn’t Magic, or Mj. He’s Lebron.
Dwayne Wade isn’t Jordan. He’s Dwayne Wade.
Simple as that right.
I hate when people compare NBA players to legends. Let them be there own player.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/06/2010 - 12:40pm #328062
IknoBall12Participantim not a dwade fan by any means but i must say i would rather have him on my team than lebron. i mean dwade when i watch him play he seems to have a smarter grasp on the game than bron and he has lesser teammates and i think it was a huge accomplishment 4 that heat squad to have made the playoffs in my opinion. wade come swith less baggage than bron does and i can honestly say ive never seen wade quit on a game. but he is no jordan by any means. theres a reason everybody says kobe is th eclosest thing we will ever see to jordan. watch the tape
