PlatypusParticipantFor Boozer
Bass, Pietrus, Reddick, and Orton or Gortat for Boozer (i dont know why they’d want Reddick and Bass but they do)
For CP3
Nohla sends Chris Paul, Wright, Posey
Indy sends Dunleavey, Rush, Price, and Jones
Orl sends Lewis, Nelson, and Carter
Dallas sends Carrol and ButlerNohla gets Rush, Carter, Jones and Price
Collison – Carter – Rush – West – Okafor
Price – Thorton – Pondexter / Peja – Brackins – Songailla/ Jones
They get a ton of expiring contracts, Peja, Carter, and West will probably opt out so thats over 30 mill easyIndy gets Nelson and Wright
Nelson – George – Granger – Murphy – Hibbert
Ford – Stephenson – Wright – Hansbrough – Foster
Gives them a point guard and room to let George and Stephenson playDallas gets Lewis
Kidd – Terry – Lewis – Dirk – Dampier
Beaubois – Stevenson – Marion – Najera – AlabaiOrlando with all these trades
CP3 – Butler – Posey – Boozer – Howard
Williams – Carrol – Dunleavey / Robinson – Anderson – Orton or GortatBiggest unlikely thing but just throwing stuff out there

SwatLakeCityParticipantIf I were Kevin O’conner, thatguy, I’d say no. I want value for Booz. He is a starter 20/10 guy, all the guys you mention are backups. Orton is an unknown who could turn out to be a bust so don’t even try and entice me with him. Bass is the most enticing to me, but 8/4 is not going to make me move and say he is better than Booz. People this is not last year. You can’t just get Booz by offering a bunch of expiring contracts. You have to unload some valuable pieces. Why do you think the Jazz said no the Heat’s offer for Udonis Haslem last year?
Because the Magic are over the cap they would have to aquire Booz via a sign and trade. A player that the Jazz would accept in a trade for Booz, is Rashard Lewis.0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/01/2010 - 5:16am #344683
PlatypusParticipantare you telling me that the Jazz would take straight up Lewis for Boozer?

SteroidParticipantI think CP3 would be a better fit than Boozer. I think a PF who can spread the floor would be a better fit for Dwight because he can dominate the paint more effectively like that. Boozer would clog up the paint for Dwight. I think Dwight needs a playmaker who can get him the ball anyway. VC was supposed to be that playmaker for Dwight and Nelson isn’t that. Dwight would probably score about 4 more ppg with CP3 just off all the alley hoops CP3 would throw to Dwight. I remember when he did this a lot with Chandler, so think about it if he did this with Dwight. Besides, Dwight only got a 10.2 FGA for this past season which isn’t nearly enough. He should be averaging at least 14-15 FGA…
