Who’s the better coach killer? Dwight “headband” Howard or Deron “Mr.System” Williams?

I don’t know, but I know who’s the best burger killer between the two…

have a huge ego, who think they are elite players. In reality, it’s the role players in their team that make them shine…

I think Deron is a star not a superstar, superstars make players around them better and can also rally a team to the playoffs like a Chris Paul or LeBron James, hell even Dwigh has his team in the playoffs.. Who has Deron made better in his career? How many times have the Nets been competing for a playoff spot since he has been there? Put CP3 or king James on any nets team and they will be a playoff contending team.

Seriously, after three seasons you are going to use playoffs for the Nets as a judge of Deron? There are lots of reasons to say he is overrated. But failing to take last year’s Nets team (which was terrible) to the playoffs is not one of them. Or perhaps you mean he didn’t get the Nets to the playoffs the year before that when he joined them midseason and played 12 games? Yes, we should definitely blame him for the Nets performance in 2010-2011. And this season, yes the Nets are competing for a playoff spot and will most likely secure one.

This superstar vs star distinction is getting old. Anyone who thoughr Deron was a top five player in the league was wrong. But was there anyone who ever thought that?

I’m pretty sure deron made carlos boozer a great player back in his Utah days, look at boozer now lol.. It’s pretty funny that we’re arguing about Deron being a superstar because last year, we were arguing about who was the best PG in the league between Deron Chris paul and D rose lol?! wtf is wrong here. He did score 52 pts last year also (on a shitty team).. just sayin

Yeah, but anyone who had Deron as a top three PG last year was just ignoring that he has been bricking ever since he left the Jazz. A 52 point game when playing on a team that will give you every shot you can handle is impressive but it is just one game. It doesn’t mean really anything.

And Sloan is a great coach. We know that. Utah is played at altitude. It isn’t Denver, but the Utah Jazz have a serious home court advantage. Coupled with Sloan being one of the best coaches in the league, then everyone looked good there. Deron is realizing how much he misses that. He is also realizing the pressure of the big city and the big contract. But the Nets can get a better coach than Johnson. And they can be successful enough to make the playoffs. That will be an accomplishment for this franchise. They may want more, but they need better luck and better management organization before that is going to happen.

to say Deron Williams dosnt make players better… A Few examples:

    Carlos Boozer

    Mehmet Okur

    Ronnie Brewer

All these players played very well while in utah with Deron… Boozer sucks now in Chicago, Brewer is gettin benched by Kurt Thomas, and Okur is retired… BTW they made it one year to the Western conference finals against the Lakers, so I cant agree he dosent make people better and cant carry a team with the right pieces and system…

Deron has been hurt on and off for the last few years which is the reason he hasn’t been performing up to his standards, but to act like there weren’t 5 years in a row when people were arguing whether Paul or Deron was the best PG in the league is just plain ignorance.

And to answer the question I honestly can’t answer the question, but I might lean towards Howard because he can be a dominent Center and seems to take staying in shape way more serious then Deron.

I always compared Jrue Holiday to Deron Williams when the Sixers drafted him and people thought I was crazy and Holiday never displayed Deron’s prolific passing ability. But Holiday is averaging nearly 9apg this year and if Bynum were healthy he could clearly average over 10 apg. Does anybody else think Holiday has surpassed Williams?

Deron Williams ran Jerry Sloan, one of the best coaches in NBA history, out of town. That’s quite an accomplishment.

I don’t want to hear about what Deron WIlliams did in utah. Yes he was good in Utah but what has he done lately. This year he has career lows in a ton of areas. 16.6 ppg 8 assists while shooting 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from 3. And he’s not a good defender either. Deron williams is not a top 5 point guard in the league. He use to be but he should never be in the same sentence with Chris Paul like he use to be
