313LOUDParticipantI dont know what he was trying to get done but he has dug this hole a little too deep…..he lied about wanting to get the coach fired, got the coach and gm fired. Knew he wanted/was going to leave for a while (i will say close to two seasons now) but picked up the option for this season. After he reupped, then he DEMAND a trade to one team. That falls through, everybody moves on but him. He requested a trade to one team, the only one that he would resign to…….its a wrap on that……now he will have to go to whoever throws the most cash……no contenders…….He is so immature and goofy it is sad………Cant win in a man’s game acting like he still fresh out of high school still…….

NCarmean18ParticipantI believe WolfRob was being a little sarcastic. Everyone already knows what is going on with Dwight, as it has become the 2012 version of Brett Favre’s decision. People are tired of hearing about Dwight Howard. We have heard everything that he has done wrong. We have heard all the trade rumors and his free agency plans.
Everyone knows what Dwight is up to, and quite frankly, nobody really cares anymore. See, Dwight thinks that because he is the NBA’s premiere center that makes teams willing to overlook his immaturity. Well sir, he is wrong. He’s a good player, but he has put the Orlando Magic organization thru hell. Do you think many teams are going to want the same to happen to their franchise? No.
Whenever it’s all said and done, whether it’s thru free agency or via trade, I believe we will see Dwight in Los Angeles. No team can handle personalities quite like the Lakers.

HotSnotParticipantThis is what happens when you skip college. Properly enlightened by higher learning and real world experience… Howard handles this situation much differently.
His agents must have had a Heart attack at the trade deadline when Howard picked up his option. There was really no good reason for him to have done that. Not one.

rileymcshea3ParticipantHonestly college wouldn’t have affected him that much … Do you really think that a guy that could be the first overall pick out of highschool goin to college is gonna make him learn about the real world?? Lol no do you see what coaches do to get recruits? Imagine what coaches would do for a guy like Dwight he would be treated even more like a baby then he would be banging against nba players.Do you also know the treatment he would get in college being a future NBA star?I bet it wouldn’t be to harsh,so I don’t get what "real life" experience he would get being in college for probably 1 year.Metta world peace went to college and his name tells the whole story,so did Delonte west so I don’t think college exactly helps players handle situations better.

HotSnotParticipantNot a chess player are you. Things are never what they seem. Your diatribe completely misses the point.

Brew Meister SmithParticipantNow that DH has said he will go to Dallas next season if he is not traded to LA or NJ I really think he is back in the Driver’s seat here.
Orlando is screwed. Great play by Howard’s agent.
Best case for everyone : sit out until the deadline and make the trade with New Jersey. I think they would be more willing than LA to give up something close to market value for Howard at this point.
Howard playing anymore games in Orlando is a bad idea. Send him to a back specialist in the Caman Islands for the first three months of the season.
