For Dwight to have the best personality out of all the players in the NBA, why is it he has so many Technical fouls?

I know I’m going to receive negatives, but in today’s NBA, they don’t want big men to excel.  They protect the slashers.

They do let Howard get beat up down there and you have to remember that Shaq rule back in the day, they don’t like big men that can overpower players so they let defenders do whatever they want to Shaq and now Howard and if they even breathe on at player they get fouls

they give technicals now for just questioning refs and dwight is always the victim of "fouling" someone because the other guy jumps into him and they go flying the other direction because he is such a big guy… his personality is still among the best

if you were that massive and someone ends up making contact with you (which is bound to happen) and they constantly call fouls on you ALL the time, youd do the same especially if its been going on for as long as it has with him

Dwight Howard is young and exuberant, he is kind of like a giant kid, which has made a lot of people like him a lot and see him as a great person. But, for as many people that love to see the jokes and fun had by Dwight Howard, there are those that see him as not taking things as seriously as he should and as immaturity. They see him as lacking leadership and as, yes, whining about calls. He is huge, he is much stronger and bigger than most he plays against, but there was a guy named Shaquille O’Neal who managed to get a lot fewer technical fouls and complain a lot less while putting up much greater offensive numbers earlier in his career. Believe me, for those that say Howard gets picked on more than Shaq, he also gets catered to in the same way. They call the game differently for a guy like Dwight, and I for one do not believe he gets picked on close to as much as he and Van Gundy constantly complain about.

Dwight is very much a force, he is an excellent rebounder, and I think he is playing as well defensively as he ever has. He really is a great presence on that end of the court, and I give him a ton of credit for that. But, offensively, the guy still has his issues, and while he has improved, I do not take the stance that refs hold him back from offensive dominance. To me, Dwight gets technical fouls for whining and immaturity more than anything, and I think in order to stop getting as many, he needs to actually realize that his whining and immaturity are the root of his getting them. Until he admits that, than he willl always take this stance of the refs picking on him, which is, well, incredibly immature. Taking accountability for your actions is an admirable quality, and unfortunately for Dwight and a few other NBA stars, it is one many seem to lack. At least in the case of technical fouls, it is something that you can conciously say to yourself, "Is my getting these really helping me make a point?" You be the judge.
