 Wow, this dunk contest looks like it could be flop. Paul George, Chase Budinger, Derrick Williams, and Jeremy Evans. If your a casual fan you haven’t heard of any of these guys. I didn’t even know Evans was Athletic! Last year they had Mcgee, griffen, derozan, and ibaka. That class was great. I think any one of them would win it this year. I’m still gonna watch it because its always entertaining but come on, you couldn’t even convince one star?

 Gerald Wallace was in the dunk contest when he was on the Kings and unknown, T-Mac was nationally unknown to a certain degree when he was in it when he was in Toronto, and no casual fan had heard of Nate Robinson before his three apperances.  The dunk contest could be a coming out party for any of these guys, and most likely Paul George who a lot of people think think is a budding start who doesn’t get any national attention.

 But I do think they picked the wrong Rocket, I would rather see T-Will in there over Chase Bud.

I think its more exciting to have these so called "unknowns" all them are athletic and can surprise a few people..my only disappointment i guess is that Blake Griffin, is not in it, since he is the defending champ..but i think it will be pretty interesting since they will be no biased winners this year
