river09ParticipantDon’t get me wrong Green is a great player, and he’s fun to watch. He has a very interesting skill set (inside scoring, rebounding, toughness and some outside touch even). For his size (espn has him listed at 6’7”, but he seems shorter, but plays huge), he could be a very interesting prospect…. Not sure how well he’d fit in on a pro team with his lack of height with his game depending a lot on scoring in the post…

d-ravParticipantIf Chuck Hayes at 6’5 (he’s more like 6’4, lol) can start at center in the NBA (he did with the Rockets) and not just do a serviceable job, but a very good job at that position (some list him among top 3 in bigman IQ and defense!!!), then yeah i think Draymond Green should most definitely find a role in the league, possibly even as a starter in the future given his vast skillset at both ends (as a PF/C/sometimes SF), regardless of his size, or lackthereof. I see him as a Dejuan Blair type (a starter in his own right, and even he plays center at times!!!) with better offense (hence more points and assists) by the time he enters the L. Wouldn’t surprise me if he even ends up a 1st rounder when it’s all said and done. I might get a few negs for saying this, but if he ends up with the right team and starts immediately (teams who need a starting PF who plays at both ends; Bucks, Pistons), I believe it’s well within his realm to average 10 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl and 1 blk in his rookie year!!!

fastdanParticipantHe’ll be one of those guys who gets over looked in the draft because of his lack of upside, but if he lands on the right team, he’s going to make a lot of GMs look foolish. He can ball, and that’s something that seems to get overlooked on draft day, but is the only thing that matters when games start being played.

JoeWolf1I think he’ll be one of the first guys picked in the 2nd round, but he could also be a guy a playoff team falls in love with and picks up in the late 1st. He can do a bit of everything, has played in big games, and produced at a high level. Even if he only measures 6’5” or so, he’ll get picked up.

JNixonParticipantHe’ll always have to be covered up by a teams defense because he’ll be a liability on that end, but he does have one of the more rare skill sets for a guy his size. He looks like an eating contest champ more than a ball playerat 6’5 or so playing PF, he doesn’t project to SF at all, but he can stretch the D, rebound, and he’s a PHENOMENAL passer for a PF. And he’s smart, has played at the highest level of college hoops, and shows savvy. There is a big chance a team will fall in love with him as a bench player in the NBA

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, I don’t see where he got Chuck Hayes is 6’4. He’s nowhere near 6’4.
