M-DYMESParticipantYea man the whole album is dope.
I love Ronald Regan Era, Hol-Up, ADHD…damn the whole album is sick. One of the best I’ve heard in a while.
People need to get his name out more…he deserves it and the world needs to start listening to this brand of hiphop.

JNixonParticipantEVERYONE sleeps on Clipse. They have some of the most well-produced music (Pharell does their production), and they are talented rappers too. They are a much more sophisticated version on Young Jeezy, but with more lyricism and production. Rarely get any music, but they have a bunch of high-quality songs. Hell Hath No Fury has to be one of the best rap albums to come out in the 2000’s, and it gets little to no love.

Kendrick Lamar is bringing us hope. Go out n cop his ish. There is hope. The underground scene has some talent too…you know this as well as I do. Its just 90% of the world is only going to listen to the this gay new age hiphop where all it is about is hoes, money, drugs, cliqueish name calling (YMCMB bitches).
Kendrick Lamar gives me hope, as does Lupe and a couple other guys out there on the verge of mainstream, but most of real hiphop only exists underground nowadays.

JNixonParticipantBut to answer your question, I like Lil Wayne better. He’s not all that great to me and I’m definitely not a big fan like most people here down South, but he does have quite a few truly good songs (out of the many, many songs he’s made, he’s bound to have more than a share of good ones). Drake just doesn’t have enough of a personality for me to take him seriously. He seems too sensitive and bland for me.

How can you listen to those sell outs?
All they talk about is weed, bi**** and getting money. They’re depicting a lifestyle that all thes sheeps can follow. Don’t buy into the hype and look at the bigger picture that these rap goons’ are creating
