Does this Junior combo guard have any draft potential?

    6’4 / 205 lbs

    10 PPG – 2.5 RPG – 3.0 APG – 1.4 TO – 1.1 SPG – 21.6 MPG

    43.7 FG% – 39.2 3P% – 86.8 FT%

Might be easy to guess. Shoots for high percentages, and plays solid defense. Only thing holding him back is the 21.6 minutes per game.

yes if given more minutes he can make a good impact , but since hes a junior i wouldnt count on it really unless he has a huge outbreak next season

Its Brandon Triche. He’s started every game for Syracuse since his freshmen year. I’ve always liked his game. He scores when he needs to, but realizes he doesn’t always have to be the first option. He is capable of going off for 15+ points any given game, but between Joseph, Jardine, Waiters and the rest of the team, he realizes he doesn’t have to. Next year Triche and hopefully Waiters will return and run the show. (I think next year’s Cuse team could be just as good if Waiters returns. Take out Joseph and Jardine, but add in Cooney, Grant, and Coleman, plus one extra year’s experience to current players.)

Probably not, doesn’t shoot a great %, doesn’t play that much and he is already a junior.

    Joseph – 29 MPG

    Fair – 25 MPG

    Melo – 22.6 MPG

    Waiters – 22.4 MPG

    Jardine – 22.2 MPG

    Triche – 21.6 MPG

Cuse has ten players getting 12 MPG or more. Their very deep this year, which is why almost everybody’s MPG numbers are down with the exception of Waiters, Melo, Fair, and Southerland, and Southerland only increased by 1 minute. I don’t know how much playing time you expect Triche is supposed to get with a 5th year senior in Jardine and a potential first rounder coming off the bench, along with McDonald’s All American Michael Carter-Williams. Next year Triche should see closer to 27-32 range and I think he’ll surprise a lot of people.
