cuseflynn10ParticipantMinnesota is rumored to be wanting to move up to the 3rd pick without giving up their 4th. Al Jefferson would likely be involved and either the 16th or 23rd.
Detroit might move up if they feel Cousins or Monroe may get taken fifth or sixth.
The Clippers may move into the first 6 picks to get Johnson or Aminu.
Utah wants a mid to late first round pick.
What draft day trades do you see happening?

MagikKnickParticipantI dont think any of those first 3 teams’ll move up, most teams, especially in the top 10 have there mind made up on the guy that they want, to trade one of those picks you’d have to “wow” them with an offer
I can see Utah getting a mid-late though, especially from a team like Memphis or Minny that has multiple picks
Knicks are also trying to BUY a first round pick again
Teams to watch out for are Minnesota and Memphis as i mentioned before, they have 8 picks combined. Minny has 5, 3 are first rounders, and Memphis has first 3 rounders, I can see each team bringing in that many guaranteed contracts

WizardofOzParticipantThe Wizards are rumored to want to move up to get a lottery-pick. This is a trade I could see going down on draft day:
Hornets get: Randy Foye, 30th and 35th pick
Wizards get: 11th pick

juves4783Participanti really don’t see the nets giving up the 3rd pick for al jefferson. al jefferson is a power forward and the nets have plenty of money for a free agent in a power forward heavy market. plus, adding a guy like al is not a great compliment to lopez because they both like to battle in the post. i think a guy with a jumper like boozer or a guy that can score off rebounding like david lee is a much better fit. or maybe favors is good enough to play already and they go after a different positional free agent in the offseason.
i think detroit’s only chance at moving up is if they trade for elton brand’s contract or trade rodney stuckey. the only team i could see making a trade is minnesota because they could drop down and still fill their need at small forward with aminu or johnson.
i could see the clippers wanting to make a trade to draft one of those guys. outside of aminu and johnson, i think their are question marks on babbitt, hayward and george about athleticism and experience. i don’t think they would give up gordon, griffen or kaman and i don’t think any team would take b.diddy, so i doubt they have the assets to move up.
i could also see utah moving up to the late first round. i think the back end of the 1st round has some nice wing prospects that could be a nice replacement or backup to kirilenko, miles and matthews.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantMinnesota is rumored to be wanting to move up to the 3rd pick without giving up their 4th. Al Jefferson would likely be involved and either the 16th or 23rd.
That deal would be Big Al and 16th for the 3rd pick and someone the Nets sign maybe…Gay???
Don’t know how that works…and why they think they’d be able to do it without exchanging picks…Detroit might move up if they feel Cousins or Monroe may get taken fifth or sixth….They’ll be gone…so they better get Moving…
The Clippers may move into the first 6 picks to get Johnson or Aminu….???
why reach when they trade for Josh Smith or Andre Iguadola to play SF…The Hawks would love to be able to dump Josh for Aminu and resign Joe Johnson….Utah wants a mid to late first round pick….They may want one but trading to the Wolves for the 16th and 23rd will take some risk….if they do make that move they can matbe get Aldrich at 16 and a shooter like Anderson with the 23rd…That’s got some real legs….
Utah’s 9th for Minnesota’s 16th and 23rd pickWhat draft day trades do you see happening? The Utah/T’Wolves deal…The Pistons/Kings(Cousins and Monroe swap)…Iguadola for player and pick…Josh Smith for Clippers 8th pick(To resign JJ)…Collison or Lawson for the Pacers 10th pick…Randolph and the 6th for the Wolves 9th pick and Kevin Love…(post Utah Deal)

JazzinSLCParticipantOr somehow acquiring a late first round pick, but they have made it known they won’t give up the ninth pick unless it’s too trade up into the top five. They definitely wouldn’t trade the ninth pick to move down.
