flibbenmcgParticipantI dont watch alot of kings games so im not sure, but what is up with Donte Greene’s wild minutes. I check the boxscores and he will go 5 games with 24-32 minutes then have 3 straight DNP’s and a few 3 minute games. Is he just playing like a knucklehead, or inconsistent? Or is it disciplinary measures?

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantHe is one of those guys who doesn’t play much defense, doesn’t always know where to be, and is not big on passing the ball. What he does "well" is shoot the ball, but even for someone who is 6’11" 38 percent from the field and 31 percent from three isn’t going to be anything to merit consistent time. Westphal jerks around minutes of his young guys to try to send a message about how to play the right way, but it is falling on deaf ears for a lot of them.

Jlv2010Sacramento has high hopes for this guy but I just don’t see it. He plays solid defense at best and that’s what they put him out there for but the Kings offense is terrible at times and they need smarter scorers on the floor. He seems more valuable in a trade deal package than actual playing time on the floor.

ilike.panochasParticipantGreene shoots and settles for too many 3 pointer, for a guy his size (6’11) he sure doesn’t know how to use it. He’s become a 6’11 spot up shooter and not a good one at that. He’s like Rashard Lewis past his prime, but not even as good as that.

Lotto StudParticipantIMO he has the same on-court mentality as Andray Blatche.

ilike.panochasParticipantHow so? Blatche’s basketball IQ is actually good compare to Greene, Blatche’s problem has been work ethic and immaturity, but he’s actually a pretty smart player on the court. Greene on the other hand looks lost on the court and doesn’t know how to use his 6’11 frame.

sacphil_08ParticipantIm a kings fan and i think the time is up on donte. he looks great on paper as a 6’11 SF who can "shoot" but hes is streaky and his streaks arent even that great. hes supposed to be athletic but hes not even that great of an athlete. above average but nothing great. im hoping we can use him as a trade piece to another team. i think he can be a player in the mold of rudy gay just not as good. he could be a serviceable bench guy for "instant offense" but he still needs to learn the nuances of the game before thats even a possiblity

Lotto StudParticipantI’ll gladly take him in Jersey……..As far as athleticism he does some things that bigs his size cannot do and he has a 8/10 rating for athleticism from Aran.
