I hear a lot critics saying that Chandler was supposed to more on offense. He was not brought in for that. IF he didn’t have a offensive game by now, what makes you think he is going to develop one overnight? His job was to make up for Amares defensive ineffectiveness. Also Melo’s ” supporting cast” isn’t going to magically come up big after not getting involved. Basketball is about rhythm, if you don’t touch the ball after 3-4 times down the court, you lose rhythm and confidence

He complained about the Offesnse, therefore if you complain about something you should want to fix it. And you right he was brought in for D, BUT he didn’t play any! He made Roy look like Jabbar.

He had a bad series, but lets not forget that Tyson Chandler averaged 10.4 ppg, 10.7 rpg and shot 64% from the field on the year…

He’s offensively challenged but he still played incredibly solid defense the last 3 seasons save the series vs Indy

I find it sad that 10/10 is considered good for a starting center now…But hey, I guess that’s the era we live in, where guys like DeAndre Jordan get paid 10+ mil a year

It looks like you blame melo.
Thats one player i dont blame because he practically scores all our points in this years playoffs.
I also havent heard any critics talk about chandler’s scoring.
I mostly heard them bring up the fact he was outplayed by hibbert and i totally agree.
He was being out muscled and out hustled, couldnt keep hibbert off the boards.

With that being said, Tyson Chandler would bring a whole nother Dynamic to the Knicks if he Consistenly scores the ball more often. I think if he was more aggressive on the offense side of the game it would lead to other weapons in the knicks offense to blossom.
