Bargnani mold

Bad defender, soft, not a great rebounder. Offensively he is a great shooter and good from mid range and deep. I think Nola should trade the pick for a big that can come in and play right now who is proven or for a scoring SF.

I dont like the pic but from

I dont like the pic but from what I have seen. He is a taller Peja maybe but more of power forward but neither peja nor he can guard so is it not like you lose that much if you play him at small forward but this draft has so many good small forwards that it would be stupid to take a power forward. I think New Orleans should take George and Henry and trade for a late first or early second and take whomever is left of the point guards. I think they should trade Collison for Indiana pick. Indiana is not smart enough to do this deal though. They will probably take someone that will take 2 to 3 years to be what Collison is now or reach for a player that they have no business taking.

Hmmm

The Hornets should try to move Collison and Peja together (like the State of the Cap mentioned).

Then draft Luke Babbitt. He brings the efficient/productive/well-rounded wing-player that they currently lack.

Chris Paul
Marcus Thornton
Luke Babbitt
David West
Emeka Okafor

With Peterson, Posey and Songila off the bench.

Needs a solid free agent signing to be a playoff team IMO, but this cleans them up and gets them under the salary cap.

Yea, Motiejunas is nothing

Yea, Motiejunas is nothing like Peja...

Peja is a knockdown sniper with great range

Motiejunas is far more athletic than Peja, he is more agile, he has a post up game, handle, and he is just not a spot up shooter. He can create his own shot downlow and on the perimeter... He is also a stretch 4 that can possibly play the 5 while being a mismatch nightmare...Peja is strictly a 3.

Motie

Motie is underrated by most people on this board. He is a very interesting talent, and I think he is worth the risk anywhere outside of the top 10 draft picks.

Whatever team drafts him is going to get a great offensive player to bring in off the bench, with the potential to be a first option on offense.

Yup. He has all the tools to be even better than someone like a Dirk ,in my opinion. He is very polished offensively, inside and out, and has superior physicals to Dirk. Its not probable but I think there is alot of potential there, especially if he is developed right.

BTW- just before anyone says anything, lets not forget how skinny dirk was when he was coming into the league.

nice fit

Motiejunas does have some questions about how soft he is, but he is very under rated in comparisons to the other talent in this draft. he would be a nice counterpart to players like west, and okafor. but i don't see him falling that far.
