AstroParticipantSo there’s a lot of news coming out today about guys rising or dropping. Let’s use this thread to voice our opinions whether it’s true or teams putting it out hoping players they want drop to them.

AstroParticipantI’m going to buy this one. It just makes sense. If the Lakers feel Randle will be good at PF it makes Okafor less valuable. Russell is Showtime and their floor leader when Kobe retires.

AstroParticipantNot sure this is right. There’s conflicting information on his injury. It just doesn’t make much sense. It’s a year old and he played fine with it. I think maybe someone wants to trade up and scoop him up.

pokieParticipantIf the Lakers take Russell they could be selecting him for the Kings in a trade scenario involving Cousins. The Lakers could then pull in Wade and Love to create a Cousins-Love-Bryant-Clarkson-Wade lineup leaving Sacramento with something like: Cauley-Stein(or Kaminsky)-Randle-Gay-McLemore-Russell squad. I think something like this would help both teams.

NCarmean18ParticipantClarkson would also be involved in the trade with the Kings. There is no way that I see Sacramento letting him stay in L.A. whenever they are giving up a 24-12 center who is 24 years old and not even in his prime yet.

AstroParticipantThat’s 4 starters close to or at the max.

AstroParticipantHad the intution that Russell would prove too attractive to pass up, and WCS too good defensively to slip.
