White ChocolateParticipantSince Jeff Hornacek’s #14 is retired Derrick Favors had to pick and new number and surprisingly Devin Harris is picking a new number too even though #34 is available the number he has had since being in the league.
Derrick Favors will wear #15 and Devin Harris will wear #5 for the Utah Jazz.
Favors picks #15 because of Matt Harpring and the Georgia Tech connection, plus it is the closest available number to #14. I am really surprised that Harris will wear #5 especially because #34 is available and #5 was Boozer’s old number.

kaceyParticipantI see no reason why the Jazz would have any reservations for jersey #5. Boozer didn’t do enough there to earn the "I’m not going to wear that number because he wore it recently" kind of respect.
