Detroit Pistons
I'm not sure this is the year to trade up just to get into the top 10. I don't think the talent at 6-10 is gonna be a whole lot better then the talent at 15. As far as what position, I'm sure it will be a big man. Stuckey, Hamilton, Afflalo, Prince, and even Will Bynum make up a decent perimeter unless they can add a star to the mix. Otherwise I think they just need to draft the best big available.
the pistons need to change everything in their team and keep the young guys. they've done this before and i think they can do it again. they need to trade rip and prince. i think they should get mullens with their 1st rounder, if not, they can trade rip for sammie d. they can also get frye (he's tough inside and he can shoot the 15 foot jumper) and hope he resumes his development (blazers won't match). as for trading prince, i think he'll be a good fit in portland. he can be their veteran leader and his playoff experience would be valuable to the young blazers team. if only the pistons can get outlaw and rudy for him...
1..Draft a PG (Maynor, Flynn or pray Evans is there)
2. Make Stuckey your D-wade ( your undersized SG who can draw contact)
3. Trade Rip
My potential Trade- Rip and Walter Sharpe to Toronto, Bargani, Kopono and a future 1st (Lottery protected) to Detriot
4. Work with Affalo and make him your 6th man
5. With all your cap space...look for some guys...Milsap amd Marion should be on the top of thier list.
The Pistons need to trade trade Rasheed and AI and pick up a good center forget a point guard we got stuckey and bynum we all say what bynum did at the end of the season. He was good. So we could pick up a Dejuan Blair but he is under sized for a center. Or a bj mullens who has loads of potential. Thats's what detroit need to do with their picks if they really want a PG go with jeff teague.
First off the Pistons, have a bit of cap space and they need to decide if they want to use it this year, or wait for the Lebron sweepstakes.
I think they need to add bulf to their frontline. Maybe target players like Milisap, Powe, or Bass. These players are tough and will be to eh dirty work of rebouding and defense that they need. I also think they should trade either Rip or Prince and a couple of there 2nd round picks for something that can be more useful now. If they keep there 2nd round pics, I think they should look for young frontcourt depth and SF. In my draft I have them taking Aminu, and Dozier, with 2 of there 2nd round picks. With their 15th pick in my draft I have them taking Clark. With there other 2nd round pick I have them taking Derrick Brown. He adds depth at the 3 spot as well.

The Pistons have to completely re-build this year because once they gave away Billups they were never gonna do anything special with the same core minus him.
Rasheed and Mcdyess will be gone and i believe either Rip or Prince should be traded or both.
They're going to have a lot of cap room to go after a big FA, but i think they're better off trying to trade up in the draft and getting young talent.
If they trade up in the draft and have a top ten pick who do you think they should go after?
