Lafferty DanielParticipantDeshaun Thomas will leave Ohio State to enter the draft. Does anyone think he will get drafted in the first round?

IknoBall12ParticipantIf not late first then def early 2nd. He could have like a Carl Landry role and provide points off the bench for a team and spot start.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantGiven this relatively weak draft class, I don’t see why not. I don’t think I’d want him on my team though. He’s basically Al Thornton 2.0

did you mean Marcus Thornton who is basically a chucker? I don’t have a comparison for him yet even though I’m a OSU fan, he is a weird combo/tweener skill set as a decent rebounder, good shooter, and below average handle for the SF spot.

He’s actually Marcus Thornton’s cousin, weirdly enough. Anyways, I made the comparison because these guys are both like 6’7″- 6’8″, and did nothing really well except for score. Both were prolific scorers and were at least all conference in their last years at school.

IknoBall12ParticipantAl Thornton is my cousin. He’s rehabbing now but that’s off that you said that’s deshauns comparison. I think it’s a pretty decent comparison but al was more athlete than pure scorer. I don’t think Thomas is as athletic as al but he def has some moves and I like his game.
