Do ya’ll think that a rich man’s DJ Stephens is a fair comparison for him?  I’m asking because he’s likely going to enter the draft.  I doubt he retakes the ACT.

I can definitely see Carney, some Jerami Grant and a young Damian Jones as a Derrick Jones comparison.

Shame  he could have really developed over the next 2 years. He came into this season a little more ready to contribute and polished than expected.

Why can’t he just retake the ACT?  If that is an option, then what would prevent him from doing that?  He could still play college ball, and his NBA dream could live on.  I just don’t understand the immediate assumption that he will not attempt to regain eligibility and continue his college career.  If he enters the draft this year, he will probably be undrafted and then where does that leave him?

If he leaves this year maybe a team drafts him based purely on potential
