I didnt watch the whole game ( GT vs Duke) But it seemed to me that Favors was a non factor. How is he number 2 on the mock draft.?

Favors looks like a less athletic, less ball skilled thaddeous young. Thats me being nice, but I really dont see anything from this kid. But maybe he will improve next year post players make a big jump once he works on his strength
Lawal a way better prospect.

FAVORS hasnt even shown a flash of anything but he will be solid as a mid lotto similar upside to Jru Holiday.

The problem with Favors is that he is really hyped up and will probably be one and done. Gani Lawal was equally raw and disappointing his first year now he is a very good college big man in his junior season and his draft stock is rising. But since Favors is probably one and done, he will end up sitting on a nba bench. If favors stays atleast 1 more years after this it will only help. And favors has the potential to be much better than lawal but he has to work hard for it(something alot of hyped bigmen don’t like to do ala Curry, Chandler, Kwame).

That is a horrible comparison. I assume you haven’t seen him play outside of the Duke game? Favors is EXTREMELY athletic for guy that is 6’10 and is a great rebounder and shot blocker. I would like to see him stay 2 years and work on his jumpshot and footwork.

ive seen him outside of the duke game and he is not extremley athletic. he is athletic but he isnt josh smith blak, amare athletic so im not sure what you are talking about when you say that. the guys has a HUGE wing span which is probably why you may think hes more athletic then he is. his foot speed isnt real fast. hes not real quick nor does he jump real high so how can u say he is extremely athletic. when someone is that athletic you can see it in every game even there bad games. you cant name me one game where you couldnt tell blake, amare, kemp, iggy,josh smith, d howard, even lil nate. werent athletic

another thing is you show all that hs footage where is the college highlight footage?…exactly because he cant do all those things now that hes going against guys as big or strong as he is. you’ve been living on favors for everything hes done in hs all year but its time to move on to what he does in college because theres no more going back. you’ve been waiting this whole season for him to do what he did in hs and it hasnt happened yet. with favors right now what you see is what you get. you gotta live with it

he is not a franchise talent to build around at 6’10

athletic but so what

athleticism is only half of a player,

his frame reminds me of Al Horford for what it’s worth
