greeninjaParticipantTrade idea:
I don’t know if the jazz would consider trading Derrick favors.
I think it may work for both team pierce for favors only if you want to rebuild
Tell me if I am crazy

steviechillzParticipantgood for pierce, good for favors….great for jazz, betta than nuthin for celtics. Rondo will be able to run and gun with favors as well as throw up some alleyoops which we’ve seen almost none of this season. Jazz get a veteran scorer on a team that needs a better PG. Helps their depth considering they have great depth already in the front court

greeninjaParticipantI don’t think the contracts match up

PulseGlazerParticipantThere is zero chance in hell that the Jazz trade Favors for Pierce. That would be terrible for Utah.

SwatLakeCityParticipantThere are only two (maybe 3) players the Jazz should be looking to trade this year, and neither of them would be Derrick Favors. Those two would be Devin Harris and CJ Miles (and to a lesser extent Al Jefferson) The Jazz are trying to get younger not go the other direction and get older.

PabloFiascoParticipantUtah will not let Favors go…dude was a top draft pick and the nets gave him away for Deron who may leave. Favors is raw but his ability is awesome. If anything Utah should be looking to trade Al Jefferson to open up more play time for Favors and Kanter and trade Devin Harris for a young PG from a contender asap while his value is reasonable

torontoraptors10ParticipantWhy would the Jazz trade a up and coming big man in Derrick Favors for an aging, on the decline Paul Pierce?
Please explain. Doesn’t make sense when the Jazz are playing ABOVE expectations and they’re looking like a solid legit team.

bebopParticipantthe green bro. No way in hell would the Jazz do this. They are not contender’s, and in all likelyhood, will miss the playoffs, or barely make them. Why would they give up a promising young piece in Favors for a old Pierce? He might get them a few more wins this season, but the Jazz are looking to the future, so he would not fit in their plans at all.

So raspyParticipantFavors = potential future all-star. Pierce = Retiring within the next 2-3 years. enough said
