TRC1991ParticipantIf you were forced to pick one guy to move forward, who’d you choose?
Deron Williams or Kyrie Irving?
D-Will was a beast in Utah, people tend to forget that just 2 seasons ago he averaged 21.3 ppg, 9.7 apg, 3.9 rpg, 1.2 spg, and shot 46% from the field.
Since being moved to NJ/Brooklyn, his shooting efficiency has dwindled and his scoring has also taken quite a hit…That being said, do you guys feel his window has closed? hes only 28 years old.
Kyrie on the other hand is just starting to take off, averaging 24 ppg, 5.5 apg, 3.7 rpg and is only 20 years old….
Kyrie is on a terrible team where he’s allowed to shoot every time he touches the ball (not saying thats ab bad thing by any means lol)

HaleParticipantKyrie Irving no doubt. D-Will is living more off of his rep then anything at this point.

Moon RiverParticipantIt is always subjective, but if I am a veteran team that needs a PG that will do what it takes to win a championship in 2013 or 2014, I take D-Will. Anything other than that scenario, I go with Kyrie. Irving will be a special PG in this league for a long time. I think the only question if if he stays in Cleveland.
D-Will is an old 28. I cannot believe he is that young.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantDeron is a system guy, he hasn’t been close to the same player since leaving Utah. He’s still a top 10 point guard but Irving is better, I think $0.69 cheeseburger Wednesdays will be his downfall

ilike.panochasParticipantGive the Cavs Brook Lopez, and Joe Johnson and with Kyrie Irving, the Cavs would be a much better team than the current Nets team. Williams is already on the decline at the age of 29, while Irving probably hasn’t even hit his top ceiling.

the27guyParticipantI would have told you that you were insanve for asking this on Draft Day 2011, but the answer is Kyrie Irving. I personally wouldn’t rather build my team around anyone else except for Durant and Lebron.

FastAndFuriousParticipantKyrie.
Nobody talks about D-Will at all anymore, he’s fallen off……hopefully he can get back on track.

KingWPParticipantRight now without hesitation its Kyrie. Not only is he much younger, but he’s already a better shooter and seems to have the clutch gene already that I’ve never seen in Deron. Kyrie also won’t get your coach fired.

joecheck88ParticipantYou’re nice bro and arguably you could have been an all star this year. I would still take Deron over you as I feel he is injured this year. You need to take better shots and be a bit better of a true PG. I hope this gets through to you because you have tremendous talent but I believe you’re wasting a bit of it trying to score.
