joe2324ParticipantIn watching the knicks, does anyone else think Derick Williams has way TOO much energy to the point where u appears erratic and almost jittery on the court? I’ve seen him on a few occasions in the games i’ve watched almost move away from passes thrown to him. When he drives to the basket, it doesn’t look like he has any kind of plan of attack, just barrel into someone. Very unsettling and nerve wracking watching him play.

OaktownWarriorsParticipantYou think where Derrick Williams was drafted at…is he a bust? or not? Over his NBA career, he has shown some signs of being a solid baller, but overall what you see on the court….is Derrick Williams. Good energy and some points and rebounds, but that’s it! And there’s nothing wrong with that, just stop counting on him to improve his game. There’s a reason he plays for the Knicks, right?

phila9012ParticipantHis problem is he tries to be something he isn’t, if he focused on hustling and shooting the three he could be a marvin williams type player at worst. I don’t understand players, if they just focused on doing 1 or 2 things great they could make a lot of money and have a long stable career. Look at tristan thompson, rebounds and hustles he may have gotten overpaid a little but he is making three times what williams is making a year and has a 5 year contract and hasn’t bounced around the NBA. As a twolves fan, he got put behind love but he didn’t help himself because he still can’t shoot the three and still trys to do too much.
