Denver is a really nice team on paper, but when they take the floor they are just packing something and from what I can tell it is that leadership from the PG spot. Jokic does a great job of facilitating don’t get me wrong but Bledsoe is a guy who can get out and run, push the ball alongside the likes of Harris & Barton.

Bledsoe is an All-star level talent and would really push this team up a notch, not too mention the defensive dynamic he could develop with Harris could be scary for opposing teams.

    My trade:

    Bledsoe for Murray & Faried

Phoenix gets a young talent that they want as well as some front-court help, granted at same spot as Booker but Murray has the makings of a really good 6th man and can play both guard spots with elite shooting ability.

Denver: Jokic, Millsap, Chandler, Harris, Bledsoe with Barton, Mudiay, Lyles, Hernangomez, Plumlee could be really competitive.

I’ve always thought at the start of the season that even though the Nuggets got Milsap, it will be offset by the loss of Gallo. Gallo did so much for that team last year. He played 2,3 and 4 which allowed Malone to be flexible with his lineups. His presence also allowed Wilson CHandler to be on the bench where he is most effective.

They need someone who can contribute the way Gallo did, or just accelerate the growth of either Mudiay or Murray and choose one between them as soon as possible.

Yeah Ive been thinking this too. They reallhy dont have time to wait and let Murray/Mudiay develop. They need to make an exceptional offer and get Bledsoe in there. They should easily be able to put together a package even without offering Murray/Mudiay with guys like Chandler, Faried, Plumlee, Beasley, Hernangomez, Lydon. After signing Millsap Id make the deal asap because they have the worst point gaurd play in the league right now.

Trade looks fair to me, Denver have good frontcourt depth including some younger guys so Faried’s minutes could be absorbed and Belsoe obviously plays bigger role than Murray.

Phoenix get a young guard in Murray who can form a long term duo with Booker. Faried gives them hustle and defence, his contract is only until 2019. Sure the frontcourt with Chandler, Len, Bender and Chriss already there looks crowded but for a lottery team, you cannot really make excuses for not adding a player. Len is a FA this summer and Faried and Chandler will be in 2019, with Bender still being a work in progress then minutes can be shared will naturally become available as time goes by.

B/c Booker is such a great shooter, Mudiay is a Huge PG w/ freak athleticism who can’t shoot

Having Jackson & Mudiay w/ Marquis Chris would give Phoenix an Unbelievable young nucleus of Incredible athletes at the 1,3 & 4 spots

Booker is your All Star at the 2 spot

And now they just need a Center to have a great nucleus that they can let develop

If I am Phoenix I will take Mudiay (give him one last shot), Faried (rebounding, hustle), Plumlee (which one? Meh, they are all the same…), and a pick swap down the road.

OR, Mudiay and Faried OR Plumlee plus another contract, with a top 5 protected 2018 first rounder.

The 2018 draft is supposedly top heavy, but if I am Phoenix I wanna load up on draft picks, don’t really want a bunch of middling vets, and if I am Denver I don’t think I trade Jamal Murray.

Mudiay, Faried, a junk contract, and a 2018 first rounder in the 10-16 range would be great.  Ok, Bledsoe would really, really help the Nuggets so that pick would be closer to the 15-20 range but I would still take that I think…

If I am Phoenix I think I put Tyson Chandler in that trade, too.  Get even more young assets back plus picks and cash, and do a full rebuild around Devin Booker/Josh Jackson along with Len and Chriss if they are worth a long-term commitment…

Beast Mode, looks like you posted when I was typing my post.

I agree.  I think the Suns would give Mudiay a shot.

For them, I think their best bet would be to get a center in the draft, although Plumlee, Hernangomez, or something like that would help out in the middle.

If they ended up keeping Tyson Chandler AND get Faried, then they would have some good, experienced big men.

Do either the Suns or Nuggets want/need Chandler Parsons?

    I am asking for a friend….

On the other hand, Denver might soon end up being a team in Sneaky Win-Now Mode.

Bledsoe would help as a slashing scoring guard.  BUT, I think I want some more assets too.

The Suns are using Tyson Chandler but he doesn’t really fit in with their timeline.

The Nuggets have Faried and he only makes sense on a veteran roster.  SO, you KEEP Faried and trade for Chandler to give them two solid, good rebounders to mix and match with lineups featuring either/or Jokic and Millsap.  Plus, Chandler is still a solid rim protector (right?).

If I am the Nuggets I try to blend the Jokic big man game (with some bruising veteran bigs off the bench) ALONG WITH a high-octane perimeter attack featuring Gary Harris, Will Barton (off the bench), Jamal Murray, and the newly acquired Eric Bledsoe.  I also go out and get Derrick Jones, Jr. as an elite dunk artist at the 3, and Troy Daniels, an elite 3 point sniper at the 2.  Both guys aren’t really anything more than fringe role players, but on this New Look Nuggets squad I think they fit.  Denver should go with heavy doses of Bledsoe/Murray backcourts with Barton at the 3.

The Suns give Mudiay the keys to try out as their point guard of the future.  The other assets help, both now, and in the future.

Overall the trade looks like this:

Nuggets get: Eric Bledsoe, Tyson Chandler, Troy Daniels, and Derrick Jones, Jr.

Suns get: Mudiay, Trey Lyles, Hernangomez, Malik Beasley, Wilson Chandler, Darrell Arthur, the 2018 Nuggets first rounder, cash, a 2019 second rounder, and another protected future first rounder.

Booker/Jackson/Mudiay is their perimeter attack of the future, with Tyler Ulis as a young player with IT-potential.  Then they hope that a combination of Chriss, Alex Len, Dragan Bender, Lyles, and Hernangomez lives up to their potential — along with their OWN 2018 pick and the Nuggets pick.  So, you think that their future 8 man core will be Booker/Jackson/Mudiay/Ulis along with their 2018 lotto pick, along with three of those project big men.
