marcusfizer21ParticipantDespite the fact that Carmelo Anthony is participating in training camp and saying all of the right things to the media, Denver Nuggets fans are not happy with their superstar. After choosing not to sign the three-year, $65 million extension that the Nuggets offered this summer, Anthony has been the subject of trade rumors and allowed the situation to become a circus. In the days leading up to media day, the Nuggets weren’t sure if their small forward would show up. Not only does it put Anthony’s future up in the air, the team has had to deal with the distraction as they enter the season. On Thursday night, fans in Denver showed Anthony how they felt when they unleashed a chorus of boos when he appeared on the 1st Bank Center’s video screen during a WEC event in Broomfield, CO.

llperezfans are fikle. They booed joe johnson in the playoffs in atlanta last year jsut becasue everyone thought he was probably gonna leave (that and he stunk). If i were the fans in denver i would be cheering him louder then ever trying to convince him to stay, not the other way around.

MelParticipantAtl fans are the worst. how do manage to be a bandwagon CITY. They boo their star player. The one who came to them after coming off a 13 win season. He turned that franchise around to a playoff team when no one would come there.
They only show up when LA or Cle came to town to cheer you know who. It was pathetic.
Theyre the worst.

llperezi dont really consider anything a joke in the melo situation. Its not like he is gonna announce it on tv. He is being very forward and saying that he is not gonna sign the extension becasue he is not sure if he wants to stay. I honestly dont know if he has made up his mind or not, but the fans should appreciate what he has brought to the table and try and convince him to stay.

Toronto16ParticipantWhatever. Fans have the right to boo and cheer who they want. Without fans, there is no NBA.

andxxxParticipantchurchboy that’s true, but I hate how fans will boo the players when they make a decision to leave the team, but when the owners or coaches make the decision no one will blame them at all
