He doesn’t have great range, but he’s money from mid-range.

He’s an outstanding athlete, is great on the fast break, and hits any open jumper that he gets. He needs to work on extending his range and his ball handling. He lets the game come to him and doesn’t force shots.

i wouldnt exactly say he’s money.. he hits a shot here and there.. but if he does develops his j out to NBA range he’ll be a star for years to come.

I watched Demar play in the NCAA tourney. I was impressed. He does look raw but he seems that he is constantly learning and improving. He also has an NBA body and great athleticism. I think he may be between Vince Carter and Jason Richardson when it is all said and done. That is not bad company if he learns from their mistakes.

About the J… he doesnt have one. You say he is “money” from mid-range you probably just watched in play in the tourney. He shot under 20% for 3Land and only around 60% for FT’s. That not a good shooter. But yes if he does develop a conistant jumper he could be a star.

I go to USC, I’ve seen him play every single game this season. I admit that he sucked for the first couple months, but he’s been ridiculous over the last month. I already said that he didn’t have 3-pt range, but even in the Pac-10 tournament, he went 3 of 6 over 3 games, so he did improve there. His FT shooting also improved late in the season. Over his last 7 games, he was shooting mid-70%. Rip Hamilton had several seasons where he shot 3-pointers at a clip in the 20% range, but he was a mid-range shooter, and is known as a great shooter, although I do admit his free throw shooting is way better.

So all Im hearing is doubts about this guy. I only really saw him in the tournament. He must have potential to be up so high in the mock drafts. Sounds like he could improve a little bit on some things.
