YSUFan10ParticipantDelroy James is considered to be the best player at the University of Rhode Island by some since Lamar Odom. When i watch him play i see a Michael Beasley/ Lamar Odom mold. One difference i see between Delroy and Beasley is that Beasley is a better shooter, and a step quicker. Why isn’t Delroy seen as an NBA player? I know people say he is 23 years old and scouts don’t see that he will develop much more, but is there more reasons? I really think he is an NBA player.

Providencefriars15ParticipantI live in RI and I see a lot of Delroy James. He is a decent shooter and gets open shots because teams focus on defending his penetration. He is hidden on a very bad team which is why he gets little hype, similar to guys like Adrian Oliver and Xavier Silas. He wont get the recognition until he becomes a great shooter but he definitley has a shot at the NBA. I do agree with the Lamar Odom comparison as well.
