Chilbert arenasParticipantI was watching the game DVR’d and just saw that dunk, had to come on the boards just to see if i a thread had been started about it, thanks akhan! After this and what Kyrie did to Knight duing all star weekend he’s going to need some therapy this off season.

ilike.panochasParticipantTo Brandon Knight: “R.I.P.” (Young Jeezy’s voice)
I honestly think DeAndre can get up higher than Dwight Howard when he was with the Magics. I’d like to see him on the Dunk Contest next year.

akhan786ParticipantI don’t understand what Knight was thinking. Just get out of the way.

ghettosermonParticipantEven more shocking is that he made the free throw lol.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantLiterally pooped on him. In my top 3 dunks of the year along with MKG and Harrsion Barnes

Sharp ShooterParticipantToo bad DeAndre Jordan doesn’t have the post moves to go with his power dunks, then he could easily be the best center in the league

aamir543ParticipantWere those the kids from the AT&T commercial?
And that dunk was NASTY. Wouldn’t be surprised if Mozgov(Griffin), Perkins(Griffin), Gasol(Griffin) Pekovic(Barnes), Aldridge(Mullens), and Knight(Jordan and Kyrie) all got together in one of those community centers where you talk about your tragic experiences to make you feel better.

theprophetParticipantthat was an awesome dunk! brandon knight better do something big or he will be remembered as the guy in this highlight! hahaha. while we are on a dunk thread, i was trying to find this dunk earlier and couldn’t find it anywhere. maybe someone else could have better luck??? it is this old one i saw before where tom chambers goes on a fast break and starts soaring for a dunk. (no not the mark jackson one but that was also great) he gets really high above the rim and charles barkley takes a step towards chambers for a split second to challenge chambers and within that same second realized that he has no chance of stopping chambers and gets this “oh shit” look and tries running out of the way ducking so he might not get posterized. never ever saw barkley get dunked on like that before.
and while i am on the subject of not finding videos, there was one more video i couldn’t find today. i couldn’t find shaq punching alvin robertson back in the day during a game scuffle. much appreciated if anyone can find these.0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/10/2013 - 10:01pm #754287
frogmanParticipantForget this season, that is actually the best dunk I’ve seen in a few years!
What is also so impressive is that he is left-handed and threw it down like that with his off hand. Go out and try to dunk with your off hand, not easy! (although if I could get my head over the rim like Jordan it would probably be a lot easier!)

GronounoursParticipantThis BS about being “dunked on” is nothing else than that: BS. I’d say to B. Knight: at least you tried. Most people on this forum would run away from the hoop to avoid being dunked on and ridiculed for some silly reason. That kind of ego is pathetic to me. If you don’t want to be dunked on, stay at home.

McDunkinI feel like Brandon will show up to the next game with a nappy fro, scruffy beard, and a drinking problem after this incident.

Toronto16ParticipantI respect Brandon Knight for going for the block against a 7 footer.

Toronto16ParticipantThe best reaction was the rest of the Piston though, they looked at Knight like, “Is he dead?”

druneave3ParticipantGot my vote for Dunk Of The Year. DeRozan on Mozgov and Barnes on Pekovic are my other favorites.

Shaquille OatmealParticipantI know I’m in the minority here, but I’m actually not that impressed by the dunk. Brandon Knight is a point guard! And he doesn’t jump particularly well. He couldn’t block the shot of any center in the league. If that dunk was on someone at least 6’6″, I’d probably be impressed. But we all know that DeAndre Jordan can jump high as hell and that’s all he did here. He had a free run and was essentially unguarded at the rim. Brandon Knight is not challenging anyone.
Plus a lot of people have made a big deal about how he’s left handed and still dunked it that hard with his right hand. He always dunks with his right hand! I’m not even sure I’ve ever seen him dunk with his left hand. That’s like being impressed with a left handed dunk by John Wall or a lefty hook by John Henson. Those guys are right handed, but always use their left hand. DeAndre’s just the opposite. I know I’m a Knicks fan so I’m probably just biased, but I was honestly more impressed by Stoudemire’s power dunk on Ibaka than DeAndre Jordan’s dunk on little Brandon Knight. No point guard should be embarrassed to get dunked on by a center. The Kyrie Irving crossover though…

BuckeyeGuyParticipantThis dunk would still be a top 3-5 of the season if he didn’t dunk on anyone! He wasn’t that close to the rim, he finished off hand, the lob was from the 3 point line, and he got his head above the rim.

Shaquille OatmealParticipantHonestly, I think I just hate the Clippers. Plus my reaction was tempered by the fact that if I didn’t see it live. If I had, I probably would have reacted much more strongly. But, hearing it labeled “the dunk of the year” before I ever saw it raised my expectations to the point that I was expecting something I’d never seen before. I already knew DeAndre Jordan can jump high as hell and this just confirmed that. It didn’t do anything else for me. Also, his right hand is not really his “off hand” when it comes to dunking. He always dunks with his right hand. So, although he’s technically left handed, he obviously prefers to finish with his right.

Malik-UniversalParticipantthey both nearly jumped at the same time… Jordan wasn’t that close to the rim either and still slammed knight on his back and had his head above the rim…. and amares dunk over ibaka is more impressive because….??
and how does Brandon knight not jump particular well??… hes had some nice dunks this yr0- Posted on: Mon, 03/11/2013 - 12:39pm #754426
Shaquille OatmealParticipantStoudemire’s dunk is more impressive to me because he dunked over one of the top shot blockers in the league. And he didn’t have a running start like DeAndre Jordan. Stoudemire went straight up off of a post move between two defenders. Everyone could see that DeAndre Jordan was about to take off and dunk it. I don’t think most people expected Stat to do anything other than float in a little hook shot. So it was the surprise factor that got me with the Stoudemire dunk. I wasn’t surprised that DeAndre Jordan can dunk a lob off of a running start. He does it every single game. Plus, I’m a Knicks fan who hates the Clippers–which is maybe the most honest explanation I can give.

aamir543ParticipantWas talking to a friend at school today, and we were talking about our online association on 2k13, and I brought something about how the CPU takes too long to respond to trades, and then he said he traded for Brandon Knight, which prompted a little scoff from me, and then he said, “I know, I know, but that was before he died”.
