    Mock Draft:

    1. Cleveland – Derrick Williams – Shocker here, I know.. Williams is the best player in the draft and the Cavs need players. Every position is week so they need to just take the best player on the board and be happy with it.. Williams is a very versatile player who can do a little bit of everything. He needs to accept his role as the face of this team and make it work.

    2. Minnesota – Kyrie Irving – Start by saying that I dont think they will keep this pick.. They will take whoever is showing the most intrist and is going to be able to bring them a good piece.. When you look at their team, they dont have a huge hole anywhere other than the W stat. They think Rubio is going to be great. Johnson is solid, Beasley is comging into his own, KLove is Moses Malone, and they seem to like Darko alot and AntRandolph is showing that he could play that C position.. Irving would be the best pick for them because they need a SG and a C but the second pick is way to high to pick anyone there.. Irving could prove to be a security pick incase Rubio decides to stay longer.

    3. Toronto – Enes Kanter – They love foregin players in Canada and their best player is a PF playing C.. I know they have a lot of PFs and picking Kanter and moving Bargs is going to make that spot more crowded but I think that if you are going to have a surplus of players, it should be big men.. Kanter and Bargs could be the front court of the future if Kanter can defend and rebund at a high rate.

    4. Washington – Dontas Motiejunas – They have their PG of the future and they seem to have their C of the future.. I think that Blatche is just playing out his conract which could be good for Dontas.  He looks to be a scoring force in the paint and can stretch the defense out for Wall to drive.. If this guy pans out to be a Dirk clone, he could change the franchise forever.  Could be a risky pick but I say go for it.

    5. Sacramento – Jan Vesley – They are in need of a SF and Vansley could pan out to be that, or he could be a great PF next to Cousins at the C spot.  I feel like he is versatile enough to play 2 or 3 positons.  If they can keep Dalembert, they can start him with Cousins, Vesley, Evans, and Thornton and have a huge team with guys like Garcia, Greene, and Casspi coming off the bench. Everyone but Thornton is over 6’6.

    6. Utah – Brandon Knight – Yeah they traded for Harris but he isnt the long term there. They need a SG/SF at the moment but for the future, this is the right pick.. They lost Williams and Harris isnt going to be that guy who fills the seats.. Also, they need a versatile player to go with Hayword/Jefferson/Milsap.

    7. Detriot – Kemba Walker – They, just like 20 other teams, need a C but there isnt one avaliable that would be a good pick. Walker could be the guy that puts butts in seats.  He could move Stucky to the 2 guard, Daye at the 3, Monroe at the 4, and Wallace at the 5.. Except for the defensive anchor, this team would be young and exciting. Also, I would like to say that I discounted Kemba as a starter but the tourney changed my mind.. In the right situation, he can be a starter.

    8. Cleveland – Perry Jones – I know what you are thinking, this is stupid, right?? No.. The Cavs have 3 good PGs that are here for a while, unless there is a trade or something.  This gives them 2 young, dynamic, high potiental, big men who can play together because of their versatility.  Jones and Williams, with Verajo, could turn into a nice looking front court.. Baron Davis is good at making players look good when he is motivated.  Sure they need a SG but what they need more is a STAR.. Alec Burks isnt the answer there.. Why not gamble on 2 guys who are destined for stardom?

    9. Milwaukee – Marcus Morris – They need a guy who is going to score in a variety of ways and be a good compliment to Bogut.. Rebound, defend, score in different ways.. Also, a good player to pair with the up-tempo Jennings, could be a match made in, well not heaven, but the Draft… LoL..

    10. Charlotte – Terrance Jones – Jordan doesnt usually take foregin players.. He needs a C to compliment Thomas, who they have spent lots of money on, but the only one who is gonna do that is from Lithuana.. So, he will pick the young player and hope for a shot at a center next year and justify resigning Kwame Brown.. Anyway, Jones could be a good fit for the future with Augustine and Henderson.. He can score in different ways and is a pretty good defender.

    11. Golden State – Jonas Valancinuas – They have gone public saying that they are looking for another C.. This one compliments DLee pretty well because he is big, defends pretty well, and can hit the mid range jumper.. He is not a rough guy but nobody on this Warriors team is so I dont think that will bother them.. He isnt going to be a super star but a good compliment player to the 4 starters they have now.

    12. Utah – Alec Burks – He is a versatile scorer who will be a good fit with Knight and Hayward in the backcourt.. He can play off the ball or with it in his hands and is a nice athlete. Could solve the problem at the 2 guard.

    13. Pheonix – Trey Thompkins – They have their C of the future in Gortat and now they need a PF that can pick and roll and do some of the things that Amare was doing for them.  I am in no way comparing him to Amare but he can score and Nash will really bring out he best in him.  That would move Channing Frye to the bench and Warrick out of the rotation.

    14. Houston – Jimmer Fredette – Kyle Lowery is good and can really run the team but if they plan on him as the long term PG, they are in trouble.. I am not saying that Jimmer is the answer but neither is Lowery or the firey backup but maybe out of the 3 of them, they find a good combo of players to push this team up the ranks..

I like it for the Jazz there is no reason taking a SF this when next year might be the best SF draft ever.

Knight and Burks in the backcourt is quite intriguing and Harris can mentor Knight a few things to try and get him to be more of a playmaker (proved he can play point in college, but still more of a scoring guard). However, I don’t think Burks will last until the 12th pick…so Utah might need to move up for that.

Perry Jones ain’t coming out, so making the draft even weaker.

Lowry is a very good PG, and Fredette is no where near the same level.  Fredette would be a backup if the Rockets would even draft him there.

Why would Charlotte take Terrence Jones over Valanciunas i that situation?  They desperately need bigs and Jonas is arguably a top 5 pick.

Should be interesting to see who all comes out tho.
