Butler will get his chance in the NBA but do you think he will ever be a starter or even a good role player. I know he is not very athletic but I can name three guys off the top of my head who aren’t great athletes, like Butler, but who are great players. Paul Pierce, Brandon Roy, and Michael Redd. I know if he is going to make it he needs to work on scoring off the dribble but other than that he plays good defence, rebounds well, has been known to run the point/foward for WVU(dribbling and passing) well, and can shoot off a pass. So my questions are:
Will he raise his stock high enough to go in the lottery or will he be a late first/early second rounder?
Will he have a good/decent career that last longer than his rookie contract?
    Would you draft him?

He is not a premier athlete. If you say he is you are stupid. He is a step slower than most 2s and 3s and does not have a great vertical.

so brandon roy is a step slower than most 2s AND 3s AND doesnt have a great vertical. thats a funny thought. im not sayin hes a PREMIER athlete.. but cmon this is brandon roy we’re talking about.. if hes slower than most 2s n 3s n doesnt have a great vertical you think he would be an all star.. i can see redd as the guy ur tryn 2 describe but he gets most of his points from jumpshots anyways… roy isnt as good as a shooter as redd yet averages just as many points? mmm i wonder how he does it.

The same way Jordan averaged 20 when he went to the Wizards, with skill like B-Roy does.

How clutch has he been for West Virginia this year? I think he has 5 go-ahead buckets in the final seconds of regulation this year. Watch out for this kid. His stock is on the rise.
