UNCbasketballbumParticipantFormer second round pick of the Cavaliersv our of North Carolina has really found his niche in San Antonio. He is knocking down threes and finishing on the break. He’s really found a role as a spark plug off the bench. Pop is a magician at bringing in players taken in the second round, giving them roles and making them flourish

river09ParticipantTeams like OKC and Miami have great players. San Antonio has good players that play awesome team basketball.

PulseGlazerParticipantIf they can make Boris Diaw look good again at this point, I think they can do it for anyone. Pop is so far and away the best coach in the league.

surveParticipantPatty Mills may have found a home as well, he looks really good with the Spurs.
Green is my dude, so happy for him. One of the commentators made an excellent point. He said that San Antonio doesnt bring in guys and try to make them in to something they are not…they just let them be themselves on the court and play to their strengths. Green’s strength is defense. Thats all they wanted him to do, once he became comfortable in that role, then his offensive game has come around, because thats not even what is expected of him. They just want defense and for him to knock down the occasional three, now his confidence is soaring.
Yes, Diaw looks good too! LOL. With the Spurs philosphy and style, they could do wonders for the career of a guy like Wes Johnson.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI agree man the Spurs can do wonders, this guy(Danny Green) was cut from the Cavs for Manny Harris, and now look at him.
Antoine Walker better call the front office lol

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe game is made easy for you when you play with Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginboli. All you really have to do is play a role. This is how great players make their teammates better.

Andrew1984ParticipantHow many games do you guys think a potential second-round series between San Antonio and the Clippers would go? What about a re-match with Memphis? Would San Antonio run either team off the floor? Could either of those teams take them seven?
Purely from an entertainment standpoint, I was kind of hoping for Oklahoma City and the Clippers in the WCF, but that’s doubtful at best.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m not a huge Spurs fan, but this team is on a mission. This isn’t like last year. They have a feel similar to what Dallas had last season. They’re peaking at the right time.
I don’t think the Clippers will stand a chance. And this year’s Grizzlies won’t be able to exploit them in the low post like last season, plus Ginobli is healthy.
I’ve been most impressed with the Spurs and Lakers so far. I think one of them will go on to the Finals to face Miami.
