drk3351ParticipantI think he could be a good NBA player but i think he should stay another year or 2 and be the first option at Oregon

NYFinest12ParticipantWatching the Oregon St.Louis game today I must say Dotson has impressed me and its not just in the tournamentbut I’ve watched a lot of Oregon games this year I want to know if you guys think he has NBA potential and if you think he will come out this year if Oregon has a deep run

llperezI think it will take another year to really get a feel for his pro potential, but he’s definitely someone to keep an eye on. But He’s an incredibly inconsistent player still as a freshman. He’s really hot right now, but he shot 31% on threes for the season. He had 0 points in 24 minutes in the regular season finale that cost Oregon the PAC 12 title vs utah and that was his 5th straight game in single digits. He averaged less then 1 assist per game and doesn’t really handle the ball much. He’s got a bright future, but there’s nothing really sexy about his game right now that makes me confident he is an NBA caliber guy.

SiggyParticipantDefinitely has NBA potential. He’s natural, fearless scorer that has shown signs of shot creating ability. Good athlete, good length but needs to add strength, improve his handle and become a more consistent shooter (better shot selection would help).
I think he’ll undoubtedly keep improving under Dana Altman, who looks to be a tremendous teacher. I think he’ll be a first rounder in 2015.0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/23/2013 - 3:57pm #757195
NYFinest12ParticipantProviding a deep run into the tournament say a elite 8 or final 4 do you see him coming out and going in the first round in 2014

NYFinest12ParticipantIt would not suprise me if Oregon makes me deep run in the tournament and he bolts for the NBA based on potential and how good he could be in the future we all know when your team makes a deep run it always improves draft stock

tblazer_NZParticipantI’m interested in Damyean Dotson in this Combine, I think he may go undrafted but still make a team afterward. I liked him at Oregon and was disappointed he had to move on. This year for the University of Houston he shot 44% from 3 on 7.7 attempts. He could be an interesting 3&D player at the 2. Not sure how good his ball handling is to be anything more than that. Hope he finds a team and sticks in the NBA.
If the insident at Oregon didn’t happen I think He would already be in the NBA. His shooting looks good.
