DipoTimeParticipantI think both rose and Ellis have elite speed and quickness.. And even though Lillard put up similar numbers at the combine I don’t see the same elite athleticism in games like rose

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantI was trying to gauge which type of scoring guard he most resembles, I don’t think he is the next mo Williams due to his bigger build and elite combine numbers

Game760ParticipantLillard=Randy Foye
Just remember his draft how hyped he was and he actually played at powerhouse Nova(Foye)

cabbycabParticipantYOUNG Lindsey Hunter

UnibrowUKParticipantLindsey Hunter was never young. He entered the league as a 40 year old and left the league as a 40 year old 20 years later. Don’t mess with my mind like that.

M-EazyParticipantI’d compare his game to Jason Williams from Duke.

sheltwon3Participantyou can’t compare him to Rose because he can actually shoot. Rose was a playmaker who has to score who needed to work on his shot. This guy loves to score but does not turn the ball over much but is not a great playmaker. Ellis is the guy that makes sense because Ellis is not that great of a playmaker and he is a better shooter than Rose but Ellis went to the wrong spot and lacks Rose’s maturity.
Lilliard will be a beast and I know I will gets negs but I can make better arguments that Lilliard is not those guys that you mentioned than he is Rose or Ellis.
Randy Foye He still can not shoot and Lilliard can so that end that comparison
Lindsey Hunter Lindsey Hunter could shoot and was athletic but not as explosive as Lilliard and also Hunter was forced to play the 2 more than Lillard will.
Nick Van Exel Nick Van Exel was skinny and never really had the kind of size Lilliard has. He was athletic early on but did not have the size to finish like Lillard should be able to. Nick the quick relied on that and his shooting when Lilliard may be more of a Wade type slasher but with a jumper
Mo Williams Maurice is not the athlete that Lilliard is but might be a better playmaker by a little bit.
Rose Lilliard can shoot better but can not control the game that Rose does. Rose is playmaker forced to be a scorer and Lillard will be a scorer forced to be a playmaker
Ellis-these guys are similiar and the only difference will be finding out who is faster and who is more athletic and also Lilliard may be more mature than Ellis was.

Chilbert arenasParticipantFoye is a little taller and much stronger and can play the two. Lillard reminds me of Jason Terry.

bloodshyParticipantFirst, Lillard is nowhere near Rose. Rose was at a higher level than Lillard during the second half of his freshman year, especially in the tourney. Lillard’s impressive drill scores say he’s an NBA athlete, but the fact that they compare well to Rose’s scores doesn’t mean much.
Second,people who are going overboard thinking Lillard’s garbage and way overrated are ridiculous. The kid’s combine numbers + his NCAA production show he’s legitimate NBA material. In addition to averaging over 24 ppg last year, he had a low turnover rate and averaged 4 assists.
The question with Lillard is not whether he’ll be a good pro. He will be. The question is whether he’ll be a poor man’s Jason Terry or a starting 1.
