Does anyone see a resemblence to Barbosa’s game?
No, none at all.
leandro barbosa is a combo guard with elite quickness and agility, damian lillard is a point with good but not great athleticism and a more refined jumper. they are completely different players
No, unlike Barbosa Damian actually has point guard skills
I might get some negatives for this but IMO this kid has alot of D.Rose to his game with elite NBA 3pt range…..#Scary
No negs from me kid! I see what you mean with style of play but I compare his athleticism to younger deron williams
I like the young d williams athleticism comparison. I’ll throw out another…Mike Bibby (when he was on Sac). Very good range and can fill it up but still able to run a team as the pg. Lillard is a little quicker and definitely more explosive.
He’s like a poor man’s Derrick Rose (meaning he’s not the freak athlete), but he’s a better long range shooter.
You can tell he models his game after Rose.
