i put this on the celtics board but it doesnt get much traffic,

I dont see why Summers doesnt get higher praise, look at his numbers at the combine compared to ex teamate jeff green. summers tests out quicker. Granted Green lead a much better team but they are so comparable i would love to see the celtics trade into the late first and take a shot on him

Playing the same position in the same system they put up similare numbers, granted greens where better but not alot

    DaJuan Summers
    6′ 7.25″ 6′ 8.5″ 243 7′ 0.75″ 8′ 10.5″ 6.6 29.5 11′ 4″ 34.5 11′ 9″ 15 10.94 3.17

    Jeff Green

i don’t know man, but i’m really high on summers. i’m actually puzzled as to why he’s in the late first round. i mean, he won’t average over 15points in a princeton offense. i guess green being listed at 6’10 (they round up) with shoes helped out. also, what are the headers of those in the combine? i’m kinda lazy to check it out right now, maybe later. there are some big differences, there’s a 6.6 to a 3.7, a 29.5 to a 33.5 and a 34.5 to a 38.0. but anyway, i think he goes higher than what this mock says, jeff green wasnt exactly top 5 back then. oh, the assists difference is kinda big. maybe that’s one of the reasons why.

the 6.6-3.7 is body fat the 29.5-33.5 is no step vertical and the 34.5-38 is max vertical. So green does elevate better but he is also 15 lbs lighter.

What ive read the scouts think summers could become a good defender at the 3 spot and he is big enough to cover alot of the 4s in the league. Honestly he is 6’9 240 lb SF, i would love the celtics to trade up for him

He is an NBA player. He reminds me of a less athletic Wilson Chandler
