Thought I would remind people about players playing in the D-League. Here are some of the best who have played at least 10 games and deserve to be called up or signed:

Seth Curry- Related to the Golden State Warrior’s Stephen Curry, the other Curry brother has been torching the D-League with his 48.3% 3 point shooting. Seth averages 23.1 ppg, along with 4.3 rebounds and 4 assists. He isn’t a playmaker and will likely lineup at the 2, as his 3.1 turnovers indicate. Curry is currently playing for the Erie BayHawks and is not signed to any team.

Aaron Craft- Sticking with guards, Aaron Craft is strictly a ball handler. He doesn’t create a lot of offense for himself, but he is perfect at hitting his team mate with a pass. Craft is also excellent on defense, averaging 2.6 of them. Watching Aaron Craft play in college was amazing, but obviously being stuck on the GS Warriors has not helped his chances in the NBA. Craft currently plays for the Santa Cruz Warriors, and is not signed to any team.

Russ Smith- Russ Smith is currently assigned to the D-League by the Grizzlies, and it shouldn’t be for too much longer. In 19 games, Russ is averaging 17.4 ppg and 2.2 steals. The Grizzlies haven’t had much luck finding a consistent back up behind Michael Conley Jr., and Smith is a rookie, but he should find some playing time, while the Grizzlies rest their players.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo- The older "Greek Freak" is currently playing for the Weschester Knicks team in the D-League. He has been tearing it up on defense, averaging 1.6 blocks along with 1.6 steals. I am not sure how his contractual agreement works. Is he a part of the NY Knicks, or could he sign with another team? If he is part of the NY Knicks, they need to pick him up and insert him into the starting lineup. The Knicks aren’t playing professional basketball anyways, and giving Antetokounmpo more run time will help his development in the future. Plus I have been a big fan of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s since before the 2013 draft.

Joe Alexander- The bust of the 2008 draft (or at least with the 8th pick). He was playing well in the D-League before he left to play in Israel. He could make a comeback on a team needing scoring or a veteran (28 years old).

Arinze Onuaku- He is 2nd in the D-League in rebounding with 12.5 per game, and averages 18.3 ppg. I have not heard a lot about him this year, but a team in need of front court scoring should take a chance on him. Onuaku isn’t much of a defender, but he averages 64.1% on offense with 25 double-doubles.

Clint Capela- Capela is not ready for the NBA, as his small sample size in it shows, but he has been tearing up the D-League. Capela is averaging 15.6 ppg, 9.4 rpg, and 3 bpg with 13 double-doubles in 28 games. With Dwight Howard out for a while, the Rockets should turn to Capela on defense.

At least Aaron Craft has his education to fall back on.

"Craft is also excellent on defense, averaging 2.6 of them."

    I’ll assume you mean steals?

Thanasis Antetokounmpo can’t play for any other team as the Knicks own his draft rights.

He has some kind of understanding with the Knicks as he chose to stay with the NYK D-League team instead of a better deal $$ wise which he was offered overseas.
