D HampParticipantOK Dwight Howard. Here’s you chance to prove me wrong! If you win game seven (we all know it shouldn’t have gotten until this point with no Kevin Garnett) I’ll cut you some slack and overlook your overrated defense. Win tonight, and I’ll take you out of my top 15 and put you in my top 7. Then the rest of the playoffs will decide if I can move you up during the off season.
During the game (probably after each quarter) I’ll be on here making comments about your perfomance tonight. I promise to be fair and balanced.

ch15r36isParticipant…really need another topic like this? We get it, you think Dwight Howard is overrated. Can you consolidate it all in one topic or move to the NBA messageboards?

WälseParticipanti was just thinking you could replace Dwight Howard’s name with Kobe Bryant, & replace Kevin Garnett with Yao Ming and/or Tracy McGrady. same situation is it not?…but i think ch15r36is already pointed that out.
DHAMP….Jemele Hill with a peni$.

sheltwon3Participantlol dang alphamale, you did not have to there and I am not sold on her being a sports writer either. Alphamale , I sometimes get the feeling you do not like Kobe at all.
Sheltwon a better basketball mind than Sony Vaccoro lol

WälseParticipantyou’re right, i’m not a fan of him as a person…i do love his game though. its poetry in motion. he’s much more pleasing to the eye than LBJ, and his precision as a player is admirable…but i think he gets too much credit sometimes, and i cant fathom how anyone thinks he has as much value as a basketball player as Lebron James.
ALPHAMALE…what Beethoven is to classical music, Alphamale is to basketball. lol(lets run with this people. lets get creative!)

D HampParticipantHow about becoming original! LOL. Every since I came up with my own signature, everyone wants to do it. I guess the copy cat NBA has trinkled down to this Web site. LOL

SockiParticipantD Hamp…. You’re an idiot. The only good thing about your posts is your acknowledgement of Hubie Brown.

D HampParticipantSocki who are you. I guess you’re new to the site welcome! I never personallly attack anyone until I’m attactked first. But what’s up did I offend you. Or are you just hopping on the band wagon like the rest of them. Before you judge, read my posts. Always be yourself.

D HampParticipantHoward has 8 points and 8 rebounds at halftime. Decent, but not excetional. I need more from him in the second half of a game seven.

michaelds911ParticipantWait until that 4th quarter, when he drops in 2 points and 4 rebs. The boy isn’t what he is hyped up to be……..Top 3…..hahahahaha

michaelds911ParticipantDwight better hope that JJ, Rashard, and Hedo stay hot from 3. Or it’s going to get ugly.

ch15r36isParticipantI believe I’ve seen him block Kendrick Perkins 1-on-1 twice in the last 5 minutes of play.
Look forward to hearing why the excuses if the Magic hold on!0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/17/2009 - 4:22pm #151070
michaelds911ParticipantDon’t forget, that D HAMP is the one who said his d is overrated.

michaelds911ParticipantWell that’s the game…Once again, thanks to Hedo.

ch15r36isParticipantThat’s what I’m lookin for, michaelds!!!! Though, I believe you nailed 12 and 16, so there you go…maybe not the best judge of talent, but clairvoyant perhaps?
I’m looking forward to D-Hamp’s excuses even more.0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/17/2009 - 4:56pm #151076
D HampParticipantPress Release:
Congrats to Dwight Howard for helping his team to the Eastern Conference Finals. It was a tough competitive series and I not only look forward to seeing his future performances in this year’s playoffs, but his professional career progress as a whole.

michaelds911ParticipantI’m not making excuses…If you seriously think that they won that game because of Howard you got to be fool, but he was dominant on D as usual…Im really anxious to see what the “number 3 player in the league” does against Bron Bron.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/17/2009 - 9:13pm #151097
sheltwon3ParticipantHoward only shot 5 times. Rafer Alston no shooting gets more shots. Someone needs to get Howard the ball. Either that are he need to be more of a perimeter player and start ball hogging because he is not used on offense like a dominant big should. He still blocked a ton of shots and was defensive prescence in the post though.

sheltwon3ParticipantD Hamp I was not copying off you on a serious note it was just fun man. How you going put something out to get attention and get mad when people notice it. That is like a girl with daisy dukes getting mad at dudes checking her out.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/18/2009 - 2:35am #151107
bdoody42ParticipantWhat is your honest opinion of Howard now? I was just wondering if the serious changed your mind at all? I am serious here and not trying to start a battle.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/18/2009 - 4:15am #151111
ch15r36isParticipantAgreed. I’d like to hear the D-Hamp top 10 now.
Now, to be fair, I will concede that Dwight is not the league’s best 1-on-1 post player, but Tim Duncan only scored more than 23ppg once in his career, and I still think Dwight changes the entire defensive gameplan of the opposing team more than he is given credit for. He’s too good on the offensive boards, and too scary when he gets deep post position for you to take your eyes off him. Along with his ability to score off the pick and roll, he requires a significant amount of attention, and this can wear down opposing teams and free up his teammates for open jumpers…and if they are hitting, game over, because you’re going to have just as tough a time scoring on the other end.0 - AuthorPosts
