I haven’t really heard anyone discussing what Durants decision could possibly mean for stephs legacy. Given that Steph and the other starters were in the hamptons persuading KD to join them, they obviously want him there but I can’t help think part of them would have wanted to come back and have another crack at it without his help. It wasn’t too long ago it seemed like the Warriors were everyone’s "second favourite" team other than the team they supported, this decision has totally reversed that I would have thought.

There were whispers about Durant going there before they lost. I believe he would of went either way.

I respect the hell out of Curry. This is about championships. Plain and simple. A ring is a ring. Rings are rings. Golden Rings.

It’s hard to root for super teams even if you like the players. I was a Heat fan since the days of Alonzo Mourning and I have to say them putting together the big three was frustrating from time to time, especially since I’m not a Lebron fan. The Warriors as a team and KD as an individual will absolutely see more hate, possibly more than they’ve ever faced because of this signing.

I feel old saying this, but I miss the days when guys hated each other. The days where if a reporter asked a star if he’d play for his rivals and he just scowls at the reporter. Seeing a team that went 73-9 and were one game from the title adding one of the league’s 5 best players is just frustrating. I really like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, but I don’t know if I’ll want to cheer the Warriors on now.

His hate for NY was REAL! I just thought the whole 90’s East hated MJ, but there was some serious hate between Indy and NY- the whole Hicks vs City Slickers vibe.

The same Reggie Miller that at one point thought about signing with the Knicks.  Sports hate is in the moment.  Also anybody that plays sports knows that if you are playing your buddy or brother, you want to destroy them so you can make fun of them later.  You play harder when it is personal. At least that is how it used to be.
