Meditated StatesParticipantI honestly believe Steph Curry is the second best player in this draft. I base this off of what I have seen and not hype. The rumor is he is steadily rising on the board. Would he be worth the 2nd pick?

butidonthavemoneyNot to me. But I’m not the Grizzlies’ GM.
Imo, #8 is too high for Curry.

torontoraptors10ParticipantWhy would Stephen Curry go to the Grizzlies? They already have Mayo and it would be pointless to add another scorer. Conley has been improving every single year he has been playing. Curry will not be the 2nd pick in the draft.

Meditated StatesParticipantMight disagree. He tested out 4 real athletically and he averaged 7 dimes. So what he had the ball a lot, his team was scrubs. This kid is going to light it up. lol. Underestimated big time it’s funny.

Tim49461ParticipantCurry is just like his dad. And if u say he isn’t a top 10 talent leave now please……44 points on Okla. Duke… etc. You are stupid if you really think that.. the kid is going into the NBA top 5 shooter already, and at 6’2 good size, ball handling is perfect. Only knock u have on him is his weight.
Thank you bye, you just showed everyone your a 12 year old.

Michael.S.Participant1. 6-2 SHOOTING GUARD NOT POINT GUARD
2. not a pass first player
3. overall pg skills arent great(court vision and yes handling
4, he cant finish0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/19/2009 - 6:55pm #168908
Meditated StatesParticipantI’m sorry but he is and you will see. His B ball IQ is through the roof and because of dad he has played the Pro’s already. You would make some bad selections over this kid thats all. I mean Jrue Holiday over Curry? NO
0- Posted on: Fri, 06/19/2009 - 7:06pm #168915
thetruthParticipanthes more of a combo guard like a jason terry type. and i do agree with you he is better than jrue holiday.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe will be one of the better points to go along with being a combo guard. His handling and passing is better than the average combo guards. Most don’t average 7 dimes. Teague is a perfect example of a combo, and he averaged 3 ast.

NYC-AnthonyParticipantCurry reminds me a lot of J.J. Redick a great college player but a bench player in the NBA. I wish Curry the best on his NBA career but as best I see him like Kyle Korver or at best if he end up playing with a super start he can end having a career like Steve Kerr. I don’t see him making an all start team. He can be a good role player coming of the bench.
mikenike you got it Right
this is a week draft but still it would be crazy to pick a role player at best with the second pick.
Big mistake to take curry # 2

Meditated StatesParticipantYou are wrong though cuz JJ can’t handle the rock or jump 37 inches like Curry so your comparing stops at the shooting. Wrong. Not saing he should go second cuz drafting goes on need too. I just think he is the next behind Blake. Thats just me and we will see.

Michael.S.Participanthell be a good scorer but thats it,hes not a true pg

jordanrockzagaonParticipantthe next steve nash plain and simple
0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/19/2009 - 8:46pm #168967
bobbybParticipantI think the Redick comparison is lame. He is way better than Reddick . However i think it is a stretch to say he will be better than Nash. Nash is a 2 time MVP Hall of Famer.
